NeoSartania is a theocracy dedicated to Sartan, known as the God of War.

We are the refounding of Old Sartania which was located in the north before its destruction by its enemies. Here in the south our people grow strong once again and prepare to carve out a realm worthy of the glory of Sartan.

All nobles are also encouraged to join the church at one of the temples to be found in our regions. Joining is not mandatory but only followers of Sartan are eligible for high office.



Foundation

A realm with a rich history already before it was created. Since the fall of Niel the Far East has been occupied by the Sartanian quest to re-establish the realm of Sartan. Deprived from the Holy Lands of Niel, we ventured to Cathay, where we were denied the City of Ossaet as the centre of our realm and religion. The Republic of Soliferum couldn't allow the Republic of Papania to be destroyed for our cause. But after we returned to Anacan, Cathay signed a peace treaty with Arcaea, giving up on us and we left to join Soliferum who offered us their aid against Arcaea. Together with Sir Valgar Reinhart, High Marshal of Cathay, Duke of Taop and the Old King Hamish O'Ways, the true allies of Sartania, we accept the offer of Soliferum. And the war continued. Various campaigns were set up to tear down the walls of Arcaean cities to claim them as their own, but their defence was strong. And through the unfortunate events within Colasan and Anacan thanks to the false God Tony, Cathay and Greater Aenilia turned against Soliferum and Mossesadelphia. And soon, the whole continent besides the Principality of Zonasa decided to take up the fight against the Republic. A tough and long war followed, and the once great Soliferum started to lose ground through disrepair and famine among many of their regions. Taop was retaken by Cathay, Azros had fallen into the hands of Arcaea and founded the realm of C'thonia. And the decisive blow came from an unexpected angle, when the Principality of Zonasa re-entered the war, only now to fight against Soliferum. Defeat was inevitable, and Soliferum sought peace with the North. Under the new leadership of Prime Minister Azgath Cyrith peace negotiations were given a chance, and various treaties were drawn, never to be realized. But with the approval of the remaining Soliferum nobility, and the Kingdom of Arcaea and C'thonia, we decided that it was time for the Sartanian nobility to separate ourselves from Soliferum. Sparticus Bathgate then seceeded the Duchy Masahakon from Soliferum, and NeoSartania was born!
