Stormbrew Raynor is the heir and first daughter of Fungeiton Raynor. After coming of age, she travelled to the East Continent and battled for the realm of Caligus in defence against the great Yssarian invasion. Some time after this ended in a peace agreement that saw Caligus relocated to other lands, Stormbrew emigrated once again, this time to Beluaterra where she has since served the democratic realm of Ashborn as a loyal Knight, Baroness and even Minister of Defence.

History

Shipwrecked upon a foreign shore!

Stormbrew could hardly believe ers eyes once he had finally drawn the strength to open them. After a long sail and a perilous three days spent drifting upon a single large plank of wood in the sea, Stormbrew had arrived at what appeared to be the land she had dreamed about.

She had been travelling for so long that she had no way of knowing the terrible fate which the gods had dealt the rest of her family back in Atamara several years ago. She had no way of knowing that her Mother and Father had been slaughtered and her brother banished by a paranoid tyrant to another realm.

Although the whole journey was a blurred haze in Stormbrew's mind, she knew the basics of the other half of the story, whenever she recalled it her fists would clench and rage would cloud her mind. Of the few memories which had survived the harsh sea and the awful journey, she could remember vividly – no doubt as a result of her constant torment – the awful events which lead to the death of her Uncle and Sister at the hands of those evil volcano worshipping monsters.

She can still picture their faces as they were burnt alive by the Darka force who had betrayed their trust and sacrificed them both to their volcano. She too would have been a victim if she had not been able to scramble into a bush during the fight. Minutes later, as they were set a blaze and their screams filled the air, Stormbrew swore to leave Atamara and never return to its evil shores.

Now though she was shipwrecked upon shores she did not recognise and in a region she knew not the location of. She could only hope they would recognize her noble blood and allow her to continue his Uncle’s quest to seek a better life on the East Continent.

Her Uncle had always spoken of the Caligus, a dignified realm which would allow able young warriors to rise to glory if they showed the determination. The events of the past though had given Stormbrew more determination than anyone could have expected.

The Caligus - Yssaria War

Caligus were in the middle of a brutal war with Yssaria that had seen its people suffer much hardship. Supported by the powerful Souther Federation, Yssaria brought an army of thousands to the Caligus capital of Domus with the aim of capturing it and thereby sealing the fate of the realm of Caligus. The walls stood strong, and although many fine warriors died that day, Caligus was able to sign a peace treaty with the defeated invaders which saw the realm survive.

To Ashborn

Caligus was safe, protected by the forces of Perdan the realm of Caligus returned to peace. A warrior like Stormbrew though did not aspire to live out here life directing peasants and earning shiny gold pieces however. She had heard tales of a continent plagued by monsters and the undead, where rule and order were yet to win against the forces of evil.

She set sail for Beluaterra and joined the realm of Ashborn. An old and once powerful nation, Ashborn was in the process of being obliterated by the evil forces of dragon worshipping religous zealots. With in a short time of joining, Stormbrew new she had found a cause to live - and one day probably even die - for. She pledged an oath to become a hero and swore to not rest until the dragon worshippers had all been thrown into the volcano they loved so much.

Stormbrew is now in charge of the Shadow Guard Spearmen (pictured) who fight for the realm in amongst the ranks of the elite Shadow Guard Corps.

Stormbrew steadily rose up the ranks of the Ashborn nobility and was granted the region of Ircymbar for her efforts. Here she spent much of her time, improving infastructure and sorting out local affairs.

The war with Sint was going well, having been close to the brink of anhilation, Ashborn was saved by the intervention of her ally, Old Grehk. The two realms now pushed Sint back into her own borders.

The war took a dramatic turn though soon after the invasions of Netherworld Daimons. After Ashborn's enemy Sint began suffering large losses to the forces of the Netherworld, they began siding with the Daimons, allowing them to decide the actions of the realm.

Asborn's Destruction

Against the combined force of Sint and the Netherworld, Ashborn & Old Grehk stood little chance. Still many battles were fought to stem the tide of evil and keep humanity's chances alive. When Ashborn's General fell in battle, Stormbrew stepped up to comamnd the armies of the realm.

The first couple of campaigns went well. Securing the southern mountains from a Daimon army, the forces of Ashborn also defeated Daimons in the forest of Zwering. The ranks of the Daimons kept on growing though, soon Old Grehk's duchy of Gethsemene was under attack and Stormbrew sent Ashborn's army to aid her ally.

The numbers of Daimons was absolutly vast and despite the assembly of a massive combined army, the city fell and was lost. This started a steady decline in territory of both Ashborn and Old Grehk until Ashborn's very capital was taken by the forces of Sint.

Stormbrew left Ashborn to continue the fight amongst the remaining nobles of Old Grehk. Once again the Daimonic armies defeated army after army sent against them. Old Grehk's capital Beluaterra/Ossmat was sacked, sending Stormbrew into a nervous breakdown as she witnessed her dress-maid get killed by a marauding Daimon who attacked her estate.

Fleeing Ossmat, Stormbrew settled in the nearby Neo Grehk region of Beluaterra/Kell. With the Daimon Lords becoming divided, Neo Grehk had managed to secure a ceasefire of sorts with Sint and her Daimon masters.

Stormbrew is now primarily pre-occupied with regaining her mental strength. Still plagued by the dreadful memories of Daimonic slaughter of both her men and innocent peasants, Stormbrew seeks to avoid coming in contact with Daimons at all costs. She currently commands the Raynor Family/Horsemen of Kell, conducting looting raids against villages of Vlaanderen in the mountains to the south of Neo Grehk.
