• 2008: Far East - Ohnar West elects Cornelius II Hsieh as their new Prime Minister. Prime Minister Cornelius II would have a short reign of just 15 days but would later become Prime Minister a second time.
• 2008: Dwilight - Springdale holds a tournament in Aegir, Farlouche Biz'Oûn from Everguard wins the sword fighting competition by defeating Edith Hashimashidas from Shadovar in the final round. Biz'Oûn Farlouche had previously been on the islands of Atamara and most notably Beluaterra, where he not only became a Duke twice, but also the Grand Justicar (judge) and the Minister of Finances (banker) of Voghor. He would later retire in 2011 while in the realm of Terran.
