The Warder Infantry arrived on the field only a few hours before the battle commenced. Lord Terivus had his men assembled on the right flank of the Archon's men. They were well trained and well equipped, some had been with him through many battles. His captain, called Vilmar, had been with him since his days as Duke of Aegir. Xinhai banners were waving in the wind for all to see, and across the field the enemies banners could be made out. Over 2,000 soldiers would soon clash, and far fewer would stand after.

The shouts and orders of the enemy captains could be heard in the distance. With this about 1,000 men marched toward the fortified lines of Xinhai's archers. This was a suicidal proposition for those in front. A low roar rang out from the horns, a signal that the enemy was in range of the 300 archers. Arrows rained down as, then a second horn could be heard. With this the massive wall of infantry advance at double time.

Xinhai's infantry made it to the fortifications before the advancing line. They would protect the archers. Shields clashed, shortly across the field Imperial treasurer of the Raivans was felled in close combat. His men that remained pulled him to safety. From the fray, Lord Terivus saw Lady Allison's archers suffer massive damage, 34 falling, including Allison, in just moments. As the battle raged more and more banners fell with the nobles they represented.

Finally, the Warder Infantry advanced of the Dragon Guard, commanded by Sir Darken of Libero. They finally smashed through what remained of the enemy infantry wall, Captain Vilmar was first among them followed by his Lord. After this the outcome of the battle was assured, though few of the enemy valiantly stood against what would be complete annihilation. Sir Juan urged and encouraged his archers to stay and fight, but the men fled after the Warders struck down 8 men.
