Church of Estahsism/Elohoki Guardians

The Elohoki Guard is select group, trained in the Stronghold of Vatrona. Everyone is free to sign up, and many of them are found ready to serve the Army of Old Grehk. But only those who are really the best, may serve the Church.

History

After the Church of Estahsism was found in Vatrona, it had spread rapidly allover the land of Old Grehk. It even was spreading in Old Grehk's former colony Thalmarkin. But with the rapid spread, their came another danger. The Churchers were sometimes under attack, and the priests too. Therefor, Prins Simon, Duke of Vatrona and founder of the Church, has build a recruitement center in Vatrona.

The Elohoki Guars have two goals. First, they have to serve in the army of Old Grehk. Secondly, they protect the Churches and all the believers. If a priest doesn't feel save, he will be give some guards. Their official name is just Elohoki's Swords. How they got to the name, however, is a complete story. They are named to the man who was once called Elohoki, a brave warrior who lived in Vatrona.

Location

The Elohoki Guardians are trained in Vatrona, a stronghold next to the Mountains of Jedinchel.

Their official name is just Elohoki's Swords, but those who serve the Church are called Elohoki Guardians.

Their camp in Vatrona is located close to Prins Simon's palace and the first Chruch of Estahsism. Their camp is surrounded with high stone walls, and it is considered to be a fortress in the stronghold itself. It said that, if the camp falls, Vatrona will fall.

The camp looks like a very small village. There is a bakery inside it, and even a library. There is no temple or shrine, simply because the Church of Estahsism is only a few yards away.

Every morning all soldiers go to the Church to pray to the Gods. After that they will begin training for the rest of the day.

Description

The Elohoki Guardians are well armoured soldiers. They have a helmet, with a red feather on it, and they have leather boots. Their pants are orange with a blue line on the side of it, and on their chest they have an orange armor with a yellow cross on it. The Yellow Cross is one of the signs of the Church.

The Elohoki Guardians have a sword and a spear. However, they act mostly as guards and therefor they leave their spears on the place where they are guarding. Besides their sword, which they use in combat, they also have two daggers. One is on the side of their body, the other one is hidden in their boots. As their main task is to defend Churches, they have a very big red shield. They mostly use the turtle-formation if archers fire on them.

The Elohoki Guardians are as well good in the cities, as in on the field. They work on their best when they are divided into groups of 20.
