These shall be the laws that govern the Akadian League until whence time they are changed, by decree of Lord Justiciar Kayne II Himoura.

"Whoever appeals to the law before his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. One who cannot protect himself without that law is both, for a wounded man shall say to his assailant, 'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven'. This is the rule of Honor."

1.) Proper Behaivor:

Nobles are expected to behave as such. A fine of no less than 25 gold will be administered for vulgar behavior.

2.) Disputes.

Disputes of honor will be settled in the dueling arena. Do not issue bonds that your sword cannot cash, for Declining or forfeiting a justified duel (a duel that actually has an honorable purpose, as determined by the Lord Justiciar on a case by case basis) from a peer or superior will result in a fine of no less than 150 gold.

3.) Disobedience.

The disobeying of a lawful order from a superior will result in a fine of no less than 50 gold.

4.) Attempted Murder/Murder:

Any member of the Akadian League attempting to by means of assassination, or other cause outside of direct engagement in battle or a duel, kill a noble of the Akadian League will be subject to banishment and execution without trial.

5.) HIGH TREASON:

High treason will be punished with banishment, a relentless hunt, and a slow, painful execution.


It is the right of all nobles to be able to request a trial from the Lord Justiciar. Evidence and a case must be submitted for the Lord Justiciar to open a trial, which will last for no more than 24 hours. In this time, the nobility of the realm will voice their opinion. After this time period the Lord Juticiar will make his decision.
