The Akadian League is young, but we take pride in our historical archives.

Lord/Lady Protector

Hamilton Vita

Duke Hamilton Vita became the first Lord Protector when he seceded Akanos from Arcachon after Arcachon rejected his loyalty to the Pontifex. His reign was initially troubled as a misunderstanding with King Jenred Bedwyr of Arcaea threatened to bring the entire Northern Alliance upon his small realm.

Eventually, King Jenred came to his senses and an alliance was reached with Arcaea as a member of the Northern Alliance. Peace had earlier been achieved with Mosesadelphia. Peace was achieved with Greater Aenilia a few days after the Arcaean Alliance was reached. Eventually an alliance was signed with Greater Aenilia.

Under Lord Protector Hamilton, the realm saw its Constitution instituted in order to prevent the problems that had plagued Ohnar West. The first ruler bulletin was written by Lord Protector Hamilton. When his term was near ending, he decided not to run again.

Caim Haerthorne

Following the Constitution, Duke Vita of Akanos elected Caim the next Lord Protector. Caim was the first elected Lord Protector, as well as the first elected according to the Constitution. After making changes to the bulletins, he oversaw many changes in government due to the war and controversies that erupted within members of his council. Having served throughout the hardest months of the war against Ohnar West and brought the Akadian League closer to Greater Aenilia, Papania and Arcaea, as well as having paved the way for further favourable relations with Cathay, Caim was captured in Upasael and the seat of Lord Protector became vacant.

Dekion Flockhart

Elected following the capture of Lord Caim, Dekion was forced to step down from his position as Duke of Akanos to become both Lord Protector and Lord Justiciar at the same time. He was not happy with this and after Count Joseph elected himself as Duke of Akanos, a conflict arose between the two.

Caim Haerthorne

The conflict grew, and because Lord Dekion had changed the government system to delay the election, a rebellion took place led by Caim Haerthorne. When it succeeded, Lord Caim named himself Prince and changed the government system to a monarchy. He rapidly left the realm when a peace treaty was signed with Ohnar West.

Azure Cobalt

Whit Akanos occupied by Ohnar West and most nobles having left the realm, the future looks bleak for the Akadian League. Nevertheless, the realm cannot be without a Prince, and Sir Azure assumed the responsibility.

Vacancy

When Lord Protector Azure joined Mosesadelphia, no one took over the responsibility and the realm descended into anarchy.

Lord/Lady Commander

Severus Septimus

Count Severus Septimus became the first Lord Commander due to appointment from the Lord Protector. However, this was before the Constitution which puts all council members to vote. The first general bulletin was written by Lord Commander Severus.

Severus disappeared suddenly after a dispute with Lord Treasurer and Marshal Caim. The reasons are unknown.

Gabriel de Grenefield

Gabriel de Grenefield was elected the second Lord Commander on March 23, 2009. He was the first Lord Commander under the Constitution. He greatly expanded the general bulletin and implementated a chain of command, default settings, and minimum readiness standards. He was removed after after a serious wound from an assassination on March 29, 2009.

Kayne II Himoura

Elected unanimously in a quick election by Baron Bruiantt and Duke Hamilton. After suspected inaction in regards to his position and antagonism to other members of the realm, Lord Commander Kayne was asked to step down and later left the realm.

Audrey Vaughn

Proposed as a candidate by Lord Protector Caim, Lady Audrey was elected by the Count Joseph and Duke Dekion with little fuss.

Lord/Lady Justiciar

Dekion Flockhart

Dekion Severus became the first Lord Justiciar as elected by all nobles. Under his reign, a prisoner agreement was discussed with Duke and Minister of Justice Balthazar Bathgate. He was seriously wounded in an infiltrator attack that was suspected to have been done by Tilted Brim Slim.

Kayne II Himoura

Kayne II Himoura, despite being uneligible in the first election, became the second Lord Justiciar. His policies took a remarkably crueler turn. He was the first Lord Treasurer elected after the Constitution was instituted. It was under his reign that many laws of the Akadian League came to being as he came to decisions regarding duels(legal), magic and spellcasting(legal), looting(depends on circumstances and will be reported to the Council), and founding new religions(legal). He was also the first to write a judicial bulletin.

Due to a confusion in paperwork, Kayne II was elected Count of Athios, which was part of Arcachon. Historians recorded the Second Lord Justiciar's Bulletin, as it was written upon his last day, for posterity. It was the first significantly constructed government bulletin.

Dekion Flockhart

After the temporary loss of Kayne II, Dekion Flockhart was re-elected Lord Justiciar. Due to insistence from King Jenred and High King Luyten, intentional killing and raping of peasants was outlawed. When Hosiel revolted, the minor nobility became very confused and declared Count Dekion to be a member of Ohnar West. Thus, he lost his position for a second time.

Bruiantt Du Blois

Bruiantt tied with Caim Haerthorne, but the minor nobility decided that Bruiantt would be a far better Lord Justiciar and declared him so. Unfortunately, he was only in office for a day before the monthly election ran.

Caim Haerthorne

Having gained more votes throughout the day, Caim was declared the 5th Lord Justiciar in about a month of time. Several nobles began worrying if the position was cursed as a result of the high turnover. He later resigned to allow for the roles to be dispersed.

Dekion Flockhart

Elected again.

Lord/Lady Treasurer

Caim Haerthorne

Caim Haerthorne became the first Lord Treasurer due to appointment from the Lord Protector. However, this was before the Constitution which puts all council members to vote. Lord Treasurer's time in office was devoted to a focus on sharing the government tax with all the nobles to a degree. As a result of being elected Lord Protector, Caim Haerthorne stepped down as Lord Treasurer.

Hamilton Vita

Hamilton Vita was the first Lord Treasurer elected by the methods of the Constitution. He was decided upon unanimously by an equal vote by the lords(Bruiantt of Upasael and Hamilton of Akanos).

Bruiantt Du Blois

Hamilton soon disappeared from the public stage on claims of extended hunting trips in the countryside. The lords, unhappy with such a lax Treasurer, elected Bruiannt in his place.

Joseph von Genf

After Bruiantt was captured by the enemy, Count Joseph was elected as Lord Treasurer of the Akadian League for his services already performed in obtaining food for the League during the starvation following winter and the his naturual aptitude for trade.

Azure Cobalt

Duke Joseph was ousted from his post as Lord Treasurer after numerous protests, mostly due to the way he appointed himself himself as Duke of Akanos. Sir Azure replaced him.
