Oasis Temple

The temple in Nbasah was constructed by Baronness Poison, the first Lasanar regional lord to join the faith, and is the first temple constructed outside of Arcachon.

Site

The temple is located in Nbasah, along a stretch of sparsely inhabited coastal badlands. According to local villagers, the site was never used as a place of worship to any known religion before, but now that the temple is finished visitors from all over the lands come to see it and hear sermons there.

Architecture

Construction

The building is cylindrical, like the base of a tower; 71 feet in diameter, 15 feet tall. It was to be a wood-and-mortar monocoque design, but the walls were not sturdy enough to support the entire structure. Ten 3-foot granite columns were added to reinforce the building.

Interior

After passing through the arched doorway, one first notices the stone altar ahead, with the statue of Adaghar behind and to the right. This presents what is an unusual, seemingly-assymmetric layout of statues. Adaghar, Senith, Omorthion, Lyonnith and Lyonnhar are all arranged along the walls, spaced roughly 37 feet from one another. The arrangement is in fact a pentagram, aligned with Adaghar just east of true north. In the center of the temple are eight wooden benches for the congregation to sit.

Adaghar, as with the other god-statues, is depicted in the classical sense; he has an axe in one hand, a book of laws in the other, and his face is one of proud majesty looking forward.
