War had broken out early 2021 between the realms of Perdan and Perleone in a time where peace had become prevalant on the continent again in the aftermaths of the long war-driven decades. It was a relatively even war, but during this time, the realm of Shadowdale decided to interfere and joined Perleone, aiming to take up arms against Perdan.
The brave and fearly warriors of Yssrgard would not stand for such meddling of a great and fair war and subsequently launched a skirmish war upon Shadowdale in order to keep them from preventing equal and glorious bloodshed. It had proven to be very succesful as the interference was kept to a minimum, while the great vikings secured several victories over the bloated shadowwarriors of Karbala.
