Summerdale was formed on February 21, 2009, as a colony effort by the Raivan Empire in the city of Nifelheim. The realm of Virovene immediately declared war on the new colony.

The realms of Thulsoma and Averoth have decided upon merging with Summerdale and cooperating as a single new entity. Summerdale was chosen as the focal point for the merger because of its capital city. The large influx of new nobles will help to quell the constant monster attacks and bring about a new age for northern Dwilight. The first united kingdoms has been established.
