Sasat
Sasat includes the Sasatian mountains leading down to the midlands on which Akanos City stands to the east and over the River Remtonas to the West is Nocaneb. Nocaneb's Northern spire is easily visible from the moutain top on a clear day. The underground springs feed the River Remtonas and provide frsh water for all who lived in Sasat.
The people of Sasat have a small village of the same name which services the whole region, including a scouts guild and cart maker. The village is not far from the regional lord's manor. The people of Sasat are careful, but not hostile towards strangers. No great surprise given their distance from other regions.
Sasat produces one of Arcaea's best wines, the lower regions of the mountains provide the perfect conditions for vines. Trout and Salmon are plentiful in the River Remtonas. The main stay of the region though is the large goat herds which wander the hills and provide meat, milk and cheese which are the main exports from the region.
Lucious Satanic OverLords demolished the original Arcaean manor house and rebuilt it over the hot springs providing the manor with year round heating. A magnificent building which was completed shortly before his disappearance. Lucious Satanic OverLords also demolished the extremist feminist Les Femmes Collisueres guild hall that was found in Sasat, at first it had been fiercely debated when earlier, Sir Aethius Kain had demolished a similar guild house in his region of Upasael.
Sasat's history
The region of Sasat was taken from Arcaea on 28-04-2006.
Lucious Satanic OverLords was appointed Baron on the same day by our Prime Milan von Krondor.
On 2006-06-07 Lucious Satanic OverLords vanished without a trace and Duke William appointed Vulpes de Zorro as it's new Baron. Vulpes de Zorro has sought to discover the truth of Lucious Satanic OverLords's disappearance now called the Lucious conspiracy.
After the sundering of Lasanar, and the rebellion of a number of its duchies, Sasat became of region of immense civil strafe. Eventually resulting in the region defecting to Sartania. It was later taken over by Arcaea, but revolted once again due to the political strife caused by the exodus of Former King Riar Windsoul of Arcaea. The region was once again recaptured and has recently been in reconstruction by the local Baron, Goffrey Massey, and his loyal knight Sir Tagelied. Despite some minor setbacks, one of which being an assassin's blade seriously wounding Lord Goffrey, the region has made great strides in stability and productivity. Currently Galdor Stormwind has taken over the Lordship.
