The House Ryû
The Ryû Family has had a long history, coming from the Pates mountains and spreading across the world. Rekhyt, the eldest, has been a great success, becoming both a Banker and a Judge, a position which he currently holds. Syaoran, the second, has also gained positions of fame, mainly that of Banker, and for a short time, being the Ruler of Redspan and a colony on Dwilight. Kurogane, more of a wanderer than anything, has both gained and lost honor, currently residing on Atamara as a Knight. Fai, the youngest, had left home early, seeking his fortune as an adventurer. He was killed in battle at the age of 33.
Though the Ryû family is mostly non-combative and use their pens more than their swords, when a son does form a unit, they fly under the family's traditional "Guard of the Dragon" banner. The Ryû pride themselves on high-quality units, scorning at large numbers of untrained men.
