History

Ordenstaat has been established as a Colony of the Grand Duchy of Fissoa by four brave knights:

• Milmice Vecchio Ratto
• Arden Fury
• Eddard Oakheart
• Reynevan Silesian

Ordenstaat's history began on the first day of Spring of the fifth year of Dwilight, with taking over Rettleville. The second region, Rettlewood, was added soon, however with high casualties. The beginnings were tough. To name just a few problems the realm faced:

• hordes of Monsters in Rettlewood, leading to losing the region for some time
• hunger and resulting production problems
• lost TO unit

The brave founders, joined by a priest of the Order, Zanaras Tian and nobles Francis Kinsey, Osmund Wentwood and Dioklecian Argentum, withstood the difficulties and made the realm grow. The chronicles of the early period mention that Ordenstaat received help from Madina and Terran. Both realms sold Ordenstaat food in a critical moment and helped them to fight against rogues. Ordenstaat kept peace with their neighbours, keeping in mind their main goal - to tame the Daimon invasion that loomed from the west.

Our Creed

I believe in Zisa, gentle mother, shaper of heaven and earth.

She is the bringer of life, the first blossom that marks the end of winter.

I believe in Tyr, wise father, guardian of the balance,

who fought for our salvation on a thousand worlds, and led man through fire.

I believe in the teachings of our mother, given to man in the first age:

That we should put the good of our brothers and sisters before our own,

so the whole might be made stronger and our world be made whole.

I believe in the teachings of our father, given to man in the second age:

That we should guard ourselves against the shadow,

against greed, and hatred, and envy,

so that the daemon shall find no shelter in our hearts.

I believe that the world is poised on the brink of oblivion,

for the heretic and the daemon are ever among us.

Through unwavering faith we steel our souls,

that no false gods shall again threaten us.

We are the children of the gods,

The Brotherhood of Ordenstaat

The Ceremony ok Spiked Chalice (WARNING: Still to be examined by founders)

The ceremony must be held near a waterway, deep enough to allow the aspirant to immerse himself till the waistline. In the water, the aspirant have to recite the Credo, while the running water wash away his past: all his remorses, his wishes, his bad wills, his dreams of personal glory flow away with the current, and his soul has a rebirth, reaching a new state of self-consciousness and perseverance on his devotion.

When the aspirant ends telling the Credo, he have to wash his face FIVE times, to celebrate the five martyrs (Iestyn the Wise, Tudyr the Brave, Rheinallt the Strong, Diniol the Just, Emyr the Kind) who sacrified their lives to open the eyes of the people toward the rising Chaos in the world.

Done this, the aspirant come out from the waterway and kneel in front of the Grand Master, or his substitute, with all the Brothers surrounding him in a circle.

Then, he must recite the oath of the Brotherood: "I, (name), paladin of Ordenstaat, get sense of the Chaos and the Terror wich surround us, and i swear, in the name of Tyr and Zisa, to protect these lands and the people who live in, until i have breath in my mouth. I recognize the Grand Master as my supreme leader, and under his good lead i will crush his opponents." The aspirant stand up, and continue: "From now on, my sword will fall furious on our enemies, and my shield will rise to defend my Brothers. From now on, i will become part of the Brotherhood." The Grand Master take the spiked chalice with two hands, rise it up so anyone can see it, and passes it to the Brother on his left. He pierce one of his finger on a spike, making some drop of his blood to fall into the cup, and then passes the chalice again to the next Brother on his left, who will do the same.

When the chalice come back to the Grand Master, he repeat the act, wounding himself and filling the cup another bit. Then he gave it to the aspirant and says:

"You are swearing on the blood of the Brotherood.

Drink, and may Tyr bless your path, my Brother."

The climate of Ordenstaat is South Mediterranean. Most of the area is covered with dense woods, with the exception of Maeotis, which is rural.
