The bastard son of Sigfried. He's an adventurer in Beluaterra, formerly a freeman of Ashborn, until the destruction of that realm. He is now a member of the realm of Melhed. His mother told him what little she knew of his father before her death, and he dreams of one day traveling to the Colonies to meet him. He has some skill with the sword, but prefers the quarterstaff as his weapon of choice.

The Elemental Scythe of Suffering

It's origins have been lost in the shadows of time, but legends and tales are whispered late at night in taverns and around adventurer's campfires on Beluaterra. It is forged of some strange dark metal, and is unbreakable. According to the tales, the wielder of the Scythe is nearly invincible, cutting down foes as so much wheat, but invincibility comes at a great cost. To strike an enemy with that rune-inscribed blade is to feel the pain of the blow in your own body. And each strike draws strength from the wielder until, at the end of a great battle, the user is in agony, though untouched, and weakened to exhaustion. To use it too often is to die as feeble as a newborn and maddened from the pain of the death of your foes.

After centuries of obscurity, the weapon was rediscovered in the lair of an undead champion in Crim, by the freeman adventurer, Fafhrd Martius, of Melhed. The current owner is Bimbo Neuropa, Praetor of Melhed.
