Brave, fierce and devoted to his region, Lantzas, Rhathar brought the barony to Arcaea after Ethiala failed to defend it properly. Fighting against all comers as Arcaea came under brutal attack, Rhathar died defending his beloved Lantzas.

Brother to Aerywyn Haerthorne, Tirilyn fell in the spring of the year 1007 agaisnt the armies of Sartan during the Siege of Nocaneb.
