Roleplay from Amélie Tempest, Baroness of Frundi
Amélie approached the capital of Wetham for the first time. The glorious city is said to be a bastion of culture for the colonies and Lady Tempest was very excited to explore the city. Striding through the gate a new flag is evident upon the parapets, a simple yet elegant golden cross on a field of white.

"Magnificén," Amélie spoke to herself "Zis flag reminds me of 'om."

Needless to say most have never heard of Lady Tempest's true homeland as she could barely remember it herself. Long has she been travelling from land to land with her priestess mother spreading words of morality and justice.

Making her way further in the city trying to find the temple of the Valentic Order Amélie becomes hopelessly lost. So many streets and alleys in a brand new city can be quite confusing. Asking for direction's was no easy task either as many found the ladies accent quite hard to understand.

"V-ai-l-en-ti Air-da-ir" Amélie would slowly speak to a guard who at least pretended to understand.

"The Valentic Order?" the guard replies "You are almost there miss, continue down this street until you hit the square, you'll see it from there"

Lady Tempest simply says "Mon ami" and turns to continue to the temple, leaving the guard somewhat bewildered.

Finally arriving at the Temple Amélie wasted no time entering through its hallowed doors. Her whole life has been about serving some higher purpose and now was finally time to prove it. She had been reading letters about The Highfather that were being sent around the realm and had already memorized the oath. Lady Tempest could see a few priest around but she did not wish to bother them, after all she would only swear an oath to The Highfather directly. Amélie would make her way across the antechamber before kneeling before the shrine to the Highfather.

"Ai, Amélie Tempes ereby swair before mon brothairs and seestairs zat is my solemn desiyairé to become a membair of ze vailentic ordair."

Lady Tempest places her arm across her chest with her hand covering her heart before continuing

"Ai promiz to follow la codé of honair for le rest of mon days in zis world."

"Ai promiz to mak monself a beacon of light een in a dark world."

"I promiz to put ze needs of mon fellow souls before mon own."

"May ze Highfather use me to zése ends as best he sees fit, zat ai may entair le vale of ze Highfather when mon life eez through."

As Amélie stood up one of the observing priest approached her. No words were exchanged just a solemn bow of respect. Perhaps that priest had trouble understanding the lady but there was no misunderstanding her sincerity. She would return the bow with a curtsy before departing the temple to continue her exploration of the city.

Pride filled her heart as she set back to the streets.
