No we are going to keep Kazan, probably only temporarily but we shall keep it nonetheless. Legatus --DeSyrr 1 April 2006 20:48 (CEST)

Since The Oligarchian Observer signed IJARG, I strongly suggest checking the spelling. "IJARG papers are committed to providing quality work, even if it is laden with bias and half-truths." - Nylen 2 April 2006 23:05 (CEST)

Hey, a Kalamrian scout checked out Kazahk, you guys are doing fairly well. Most OIR soldiers are leaving for Kazan or are scattered. Pity that one is Ebion, hopefully he is allright. Legatus --DeSyrr 3 April 2006 00:16 (CEST)

Actually, I've been wondering. Will KI be allowing foreign troops to pass through Kazan? You know, if you do, there will eventually be a battle there. Vellos 3 April 2006 00:48 (CEST)

Yes, that is what it seems like, but no decree has reached my ears. I shall send a letter to the most esteemed King Prometheus inquiring on that note. Legatus DeSyrr 3 April 2006 04:48 (CEST)

Thank you, my friend. I hope that some day we may actually meet each other. Vellos 3 April 2006 01:45 (CEST)

You had better hope you never meet Hireshmont, hes and infiltrator, that means when he meets you he'll be sneakin round your camp with a posioned dagger in his cloak ;)--Twinblade 3 April 2006 16:09 (CEST)

Ohh... I'm not unkind to those who are nice to me... :D Unfortunately, some other infiltrator pricked me bum witha dagger, and the healers insist that I'm unfir for combat. Just a little wound, but, still. Very irksome. Vellos 3 April 2006 19:12 (CEST)

I doubt Hiereshmont Vellos would be fool enough to spark a war with a neutral partyby assaulting me, especially when there are more pressing troopleaders who dont have particular fondness for Oligarch from 3 realms sacking your lands thta are in need of poison, assassination, etc. I fear it not, plus he wouldnt want to leave his region for so long. These ships move so slowly, *sigh* --Legatus DeSyrr 4 April 2006 23:25 (CEST)

No, I prefer to spend my time pricking Fontanese passing through Montijo in the bum. ;) Vellos 4 April 2006 23:30 (CEST)

I should think so. I've got 2 new articles if you care to read them, just to tell you, and I wanna say... How many tiems do you wanna announce your support for LOF? As generous as it is, you seem very desperate! -- Legatus DeSyrr 4 April 2006 23:33 (CEST)

We are desperate! Sirion, OR, and Fontan(prior to LoF secession) have a combined income of about 20,000 gold each taxtime. Oligarch has an income of about 4,000. Prior to the LoF secession, Sirion, OR, and Fontan had a combined CS of 114,000 CS. Oligarch has about 16,000 CS. If I weren't desperate, I'D BE INSANE. Besides, more articles = more papers sold! Vellos 4 April 2006 23:49 (CEST)

Haha! i see that, and I think its the desperation that makes me like Oligarch so much, desparation on a better note makes you all look very heroic. Same deal with Avamar, I am new to the East continent and didnt see Rancaguas fall so I cant say much on that. I always love dying realms. *Sigh* If only we could save Drachenwald.

Oh and on another random note, have any of you Oligarchians caught sight of the rare Kalmarian obsidion swimming squirrels? I mean you may have seen a few in Gadlock, but it wouldnt be many, if you see a jet black squirrel like that it is probably from the temple menagerie. I saw the squirrels swimming east from "Fortitude" and was wondering how far they'd gotten. -- Legatus DeSyrr 5 April 2006 00:15 (CEST)

Can't you people use a different player as judge? I mean seriously, I can only execute someone from the Omnia once... and after that its hard to deal with them when they finally get something I want.--Eurtek 5 April 2006 07:04 (CEST)

We vote in whatever CHARACTER we desire to be judge. The player has nothing to do with it. Donna Ragna was trusted and beloved by the Avamarians, a huge voting block. Elaira has the trust of the Oligarchians and the Avamarians(after the Velvet Revolution, she was our judge), and is related to Donna Ragna. Was your comment IC, or OOC? I couldnt tell... mine was OOC, by the way... Vellos 5 April 2006 14:33 (CEST)

OOC griping about IC frustrations, sorry about that. And that was supposted to be excommunicate, not execute... though there has ben quite a bit of both. Folite does read the Observer however, along with many nobles of OR. We don't like your one-sided reporting. However I must admit you are first to deliver some news.--Eurtek 5 April 2006 21:59 (CEST)

(This is OOC still, by the way) The OO is intended to be one sided, because, after all, Hireshmont IS the head of every espionage or security related operation in Oligarch, as well as the head of the newspaper. Combine the two and you get... wait a second... I'm feeling it... PROPAGANDA?! ;) Yeah, the OO is trying to take a positive pro-Oligarchian stance on everything, even when its quite a stretch. Yeah, Hireshmont will always be bragging about reporting the birth of Elros before Fuinur or the Old Rancaguan paper did... ;) Vellos 6 April 2006 03:21 (CEST)

I love your coverage on the Kalamar rebellion. It was quite funny. One 6 April 2006 06:35 (CEST)

As do I, especially after I had to take all the emotion and siriousness writing my articles. Ah I feel better now. I get into these thing y'know?

Legatus DeSyrr 6 April 2006 11:51 (CEST)

Giblot Gestapo Gazette...=

...is so much better than these silly East COntinet things!

Long live partial, biased and bloody journalism!!!

Well, we most certainly are partial and biased! Which is why we havnt been publishing about military defeats! :) Bloody? We have a little bit of blood... ;) Vellos 7 April 2006 23:51 (CEST)

Bwahaha, but no peasant head massacres? Sickening! Then again, I do hear the Sirionite heads glide through the air wonderfully! I need to test this! - Revan

Good to know the allies are out there. We shall be restored, though in the meantime it will do extensive damage to the islands, I pity the sould. Now I am a rogue. My friends and fellow editor Hiereshmont, for the time atleast would you advise me to join Oligarch? OR shall I head to Old Rancagua? My 5 loyal Kalmarians are in Kazan right now.

Legatus DeSyrr 10 April 2006 23:01 (CEST)

Come to Oligarch! We'd love to have you! Of course, Oligarch city IS under seige right now, which could be a problem. Old Rancagua would be the most direct way to get back to KI, though I personally and officially extend the helping hand of welcome to any and all Islanders who wish to join us. Of course, we do have a massive Avamarian contingent, which might cause problems. But I'd love to have some friends who arent madly in love with Avamar! Vellos 10 April 2006 23:50 (CEST)

Be it so, I, and my 5 guards shal head into Gadlock. Perhaps I can reconvice the Avamarians that supporting a creature who invades and usurps the throne of a peaceful kingdom that has nay harmed Avamar. And making that kingdom bacoming like Avamar in that it's glory and greatness was overtaken by a cruel and unjust outside force.

I look forward to meeting you in person good Hiereshmont. Even if it is in a beseiged city, my men have never seen battle with anythuing other than monsters so this shall be quite the experience. I shall see you in a few days.

Legatus DeSyrr 11 April 2006 20:34 (CEST)

I look forward to meeting you. There is a safe route, for now, through Commonyr, but thats quite a hike, I believe. You may be able to sneak through Greatbridge or Bruck, actually. Vellos 11 April 2006 22:57 (CEST)

I am in Gadlock right now, 3 of my men have died in a little unintented brawl with the Old Rancaguans. We haev been sneaking southwards evading any troops but that seemed to fail in Kazhak. 3 of my men have died, and 2 are wounded. It seems You will not have the pleasure of meeting these rightous fighters, but I shall still be in Oligarch, most likely by morning's light tomorrow. I plan to head through Bruck to reach you.

Legatus DeSyrr 12 April 2006 14:46 (CEST)

Be careful, make sure your trying to evade the foe(OOC- Switch to evasive). Vellos 12 April 2006 22:40 (CEST)

Oligarch's Dark Days

Have hope Hireshmont. I may be from Itorunt, but if you've read my writings you shall know I do not want Oligarch's death. - Aurum Bishamon
