Talk:The Fronen Commentator/Edition:5

Oh, I would hasten to correct you on one point. I did not neccesarily wish to terminate Fwuvoghor's alliance with Irombrozia - as naturally that would have plunged the realm into war, something that would have required council backing - and the termination of the alliance wioth Enweil was already done. Indeed, it was a pity that Retravic had such determination to see he realm burn, but such is lfe sometimes when your fate is controlled by the few rather than the many. --Widfara

After days of fighting, Retravic took over control of Fwuvoghor, ended the peace process Widfara had started, and reformed Fwuvoghor into a monarchy. Calling it the "Monarchical Republic of Fwuvoghor."

I thought I'd point out that I never called it the Monarchial Republic of Fwuvoghor. If I refer to the reformed government at all, it is either as The People's Republic of Fwuvoghor or simply Fwuvoghor.

By the same token, Retravic seeks war with the ECA

Alexius, you should try not talking out of your ass. Since the reformation I have attempted to come to terms with the ECA, and Avalon and Fronen have effectively ignored any and all messages, leaving Delvin to do the talking. We seek neutrality. There is far too much between our realms to suddenly become friends, but that doesn't mean that there must be war. Let it be known that any responses to this that include or are similiar to Delvin's inability to acknowledge what neutrality is will be ignored.

Retravic preferred a monarchy where free speech was again suppressed and criminal.

Alexius, I would like to ask, how am I suppressing free speech in Fwuvoghor? Obviously you don't know the full story. The rebellion took place, in part, because of Widfara. It also took place, and this was the most significant reason, because the old form of Fwuvoghor could not deliver to the people. The fact that people such as Widfara could come into power and make such massive changes (something that was only possible due to my assassination) proved that.

One last thing. You must have never seen Widfara. If you have, you'd agree with me, his red eyes and stench are hard to miss. Its easy to recognize undead if you ever leave your tent and try fighting them yourself instead of just sending your men. --Bannable 04:40, 12 April 2007 (CEST)

As your husband is so fond of saying, peace doesn't indicate friendship, yet your only intention was to sabotage those processes, Retravic. Oh, and we already went through your claims about undead in the times of the rebellion, I think Felmoure summed it up nice (OOC: In his OOC message as well ;-) ) so please drop that already. --The1exile 13:57, 12 April 2007 (CEST)
Delvin doesn't want peace, he wants us to be his dogs and act only on his will. My intention is not to sabotage those processes, it is to maintain our soverignity while ending this war. --Bannable 17:45, 12 April 2007 (CEST)
Actually he did, and I even had peace agreements with all but Thalmarkin worked out. And my way would have left Fwuvoghor as more than a smoking ruin. --The1exile 20:09, 12 April 2007 (CEST)
If he wanted peace then why has he steadily refused offers of neutrality since the day you were kicked out, Widfara? Your actions would not have left Fwuvoghor a smoking ruin, but they would have left it dead on the inside. --Bannable 01:54, 13 April 2007 (CEST)
I doubt it. But who can say, since you so obviously consider your judgement to be greater than everyone else's. --The1exile 13:14, 13 April 2007 (CEST)
If I may, the refusals are an issue of trust. I trusted Widfara (at least, as far as I could throw him). I don't trust Retravic--or, for that matter, anyone else that close to Hireshmont. --Anaris 14:50, 13 April 2007 (CEST)
Delvin, you seek to destroy a realm simply because you do not trust its ruler? Things like this are why we went to war in the first place! --Bannable 15:03, 13 April 2007 (CEST)
Retravic, no. You're just wrong. You made your bed, now you can lie in it. You can't just dodge consequences of your actions by blaming it on other people. --The1exile 15:41, 13 April 2007 (CEST)

Tales from the Archive

Election ballots for Prime Minister of Melhed during the last 2 years list the following candidates:
Aldo Unti
Zombie
Bob the Wonder Chicken
Bimbo Neuropa
Kerrigan Bladefist

The Zombie won the 14th election initially, but was disqualified when it was realized that the smelly, oozing voters were in fact other zombies and not nobles with incredibly poor hygiene. The discovery was accredited to the Palace Guard, known for throwing waves of men at the problem despite how little it accomplishes. Upon learning that their votes were discarded the zombies began to riot, killing and eating 247 Palace Guards before one Guardian of the Sun arrived on the scene. "It was kind of fun to watch," Guardian of the Sun age 16, "But then I saw this nice looking woman at the voting table and realized it was the perfect chance to show off." The re-confirmed Prime Minister Aldo Unti was not available for comment at the time, but Zombie continues to run despite being brutally murdered 7 times.

Alexius..will you pull your head out of your rear end already. You are placing a false reason upon Grimbaldus' head. It was that former Apothes that took Grimbaldus' orders the wrong way and dragged it on to the point where everyone hated him.

For heaven's sake, if your going to harass someone that you already executed, make sure you get the facts right. Sheesh >=( ---Bakos

Oh damn, so this is when the rebellion took place. JO was either still in OT, back in OT, or perhaps in Taselak too... Quit a fine turn of events in the end though, I'd say. ;) -Chénier 02:41, 18 October 2007 (CEST)

No, no if only it werent' for that little uprising of Retravic's. Widfara would've in control of Fwuvoghor and Grand Justiciar Eireka would still be alive and the realm would to the day be a Republic. Think of what is and what could have been to this day makes me "lay down my head in mournful cry." Alright not really, I just wanted to quote one of my favorite evocative poems. --Alex 05:30, 18 October 2007 (CEST)

Republic=Me not judge (I don't think I ever would have even joined the realm was it still one)=me boring myself to death in this invasion. Retravic should have statues in her honnour everywhere. ;) -Chénier 06:04, 18 October 2007 (CEST)
By the way, why was this the last issue? -Chénier 06:05, 18 October 2007 (CEST)
