Needs work!

Page needs work. The area has a lot of potential, some of it already written up, but it needs more solid details (in my opinion) and a more neutral POV (in respect to ownership and faiths, things more temporary then their gold value and bushel returns).

You know, we could blatantly borrow from Lord of the Rings (The Two Towers) and model the stronghold on the stronghold of Helm's Deep. It'd occupy the base of a steep ravine, with a curtain wall stretching the width of the valley. If someone could get a list of travel times from Moramroth, we could dump in a line about it "protecting one of the quicker/most secure/stablest routes to Mount Moramroth and the rich mines therein".

The new econ. system lists its main economic values as farming and manufacturing. I'd suggest something about the plains to the west of the stronghold, perhaps fed by a small river/stream that flows down through the stronghold. As for the manufacturing, I'd suggest linking it to the stronghold itself. Fortresses usually had blacksmiths and builders attached to them to maintain the structure and the local forces. A good stonecutter, when not having to fit large blocks into walls would likely be spending time dressing stone for transport, sculpting statues, carving friezes and so on. Blacksmtihs, when not doing blades and chainmail, would be drawing nails, making tools, and the more skilled ones would likely be dabbling in jewelry. Let's play up on this. -Baatarsaikhan 08:22, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
