Roleplay from Bowie Ironsides

Spring Opener: Realm Launch Party and Mixer!

The Demon of Dwilight approved of the final decorations to his estate on the shore of the Forgotten Coast. The realm colours were ample all about the manor, which included a main hall, converted into the stage for the performances, which led to a wide patio on the beach where the moonlit dance would take place, and then the patio led to a small garden and private chapel that dropped straight to the sea. Bowie was very specific when he picked this estate upon moving to Flowrestown. He intended from the inception of the colony to hold many events and act as the spine to the Republic's social life. Few realms could boast of such activities, he knew this for a fact, and he fully supported this cause with all of his effort.

Flowrestown brought bitter memories back to him from battles long past. It was in this city where he last fought his final military battle. Never since did he command a unit. Yet for the sake of Swordfell and the cheer of the imminent party, he swallowed those strangling visions deep into his gut. Gaiety and glee were the alliterations of the event!

All nobles of Swordfell were expected to attend the very first party ever to be held at his estate. This estate, he dreamed, would become legendary across the continent for hosting the party that sunk Flowrestown into the sea! By that glorious ambition, he dubbed his estate Casino Ironsides!

It was only a matter of time before the first guests began to arrive..............

Roleplay from Abbigal Pike

Abbigal approached Bowies estate with a smile on her face. The evening should indeed be a good one. Abbigal had never been to an event hosted by Bowie where she did not enjoy herself. Since this evening was to include a roast of the host it was indeed going to be good.

Abbigal had chosen to wear a simple midnight blue gown for the party. While it was not quite as scandelless as the last time she wore a dress it showed off her body nicely. It allowed everyone to know that yes she was a women but still not show off the parts of her body that should only bee seen by her lover in the bedroom. Abbigals long dark black hair was tied up nicely behind her back. It was still nice to have it out instead of hidden by armor.

Abbigal's mind wandered again as she remembered another party. While Abbigal knew Creed was coming back to her she did not know when he would arrive. Abbigal forced her mind come back to the party. Now was not the time to dwell on the past now was the time to enjoy the future of Swordfell. Once she had entered the estate she waited patiently for her escort to arrive.

Roleplay from Enoch Dishman

Enoch stepped out of his gilded coach with anticipation. The manor that Bowie had selected was dressed up more than he was, but both were in good taste. He had thought he would arrive late, given his quick journey from the Divides, but it seemed he had made good time and was one of the first to arrive.

He entered the manor and strode toward the receiving area. He did not see Sir Bowie, but that may have been because his gaze had become fixated as soon as he saw her. Abbigal had already arrived, it seemed, and she was in smart and modest dressing. Enoch went to her and bowed with a hearty smile.

"Lady Abbigal, it is good to see you. It was a shame we could not share a coach, but so long as we share a splendid eve little else will matter." Enoch took Abbigals arm, producing two filled wine glasses with his other hand. "Have you seen our fine host? So far, all I have been able to find is wine and beauty."

Enoch offered her one of the glasses of wine he had been offered by one of several servants displaying varying types of inebriation. He gave her another smile, this one a bit more amorous.

Roleplay from Bowie Ironsides

Directing the wait staff to hit the floor and be visible, Bowie circled his way around the main hall until he noticed two of his guests had arrived. Approaching, he courteously bowed to Lady Abbigal as he kissed her hand, and saluted to Sir Enoch.

"Greetings! Welcome to Casino Ironsides! My estate is yours so please feel free to exploit that offer. I hope your journeys here weren't too difficult?" He said to both of them in general chatter.

"If you'd like to explore the estate have a go at it. The garden and chapel by the shoreline are the prettiest and most spiritually aesthetic places on my estate. I do request that you do not enter the chapel at all, however. That is private."

He had not started drinking yet, as far as they knew, and was eager to finally see the fun side of his peers.

Roleplay from Claude Onyxis

Claude smiled as his carriage pulled up in front of the manor in which festivities were to be held. He stepped out, dressed in typical party finery with a few minor accoutrements, and upon entering gazed around at the wonderful decorations.

I see the Demon of Dwilight certainly has some aesthetic taste. This should prove to be a wonderful evening, by the looks of it.

A servant brought him a glass of wine, which he gladly took, and upon tasting it found it to be of a very fine vintage. He resolved to have a good amount more of it later. But for now, he searched for the host and other guests for socialization.

Roleplay from Abbigal Pike

Abbigal could not help but to blush a little bit at Enoch's greeting. For some reason she still could not get used to complements from young men. Old men like Bowie were just being kind but to know what younger men though... It was for that reason Abbigal preferred the battelfield to parties. She knew how things went on the battlefield and it did not matter if you where a man or women. Abbigal decided to have a bit of fun with Enoch. Abbigal gave Enoch a nice curtsey and replied.

"I have just arrived my self. So I have not seen our host yet. If you think you have found wine and beauty then you have not seen much yet. I am but a simple lady and I am sure you have seen better then me. As for the wine its not bad but if I know our host this is but water compared to what he has hidden away. When he comes we must ask where the good stuff is. So tell me a bit about yourself? Is Swordfell what you hoped it would be?"

When Bowie did arrive it was good to see him and the Deamon did look please so one had to wonder what he hand on his mind. She curtsied to him after his greeting and listen carefully to the description of the estate.

"Thank you my friend. The trip was dull and boring so this party had better be good. I was just telling Enoch here that this wine is some of your simpler fair. Where are you hiding the good stuff? After we finish some good drinks I will let my Enoch here my escort for the evening decide where we should go"

Roleplay from Enoch Dishman

"My Lady, Swordfell has been more than I had hoped. Political turmoil, grand parties, and aesthetically pleasing views. I'm sure our host is saving the stronger spirits for the climax of the night. Ah, the man of the hour, Sir Bowie!" Giving a return salute, Enoch greeted his host.

"The journey was fine. The destination better. I appreciate your welcome, and think I may take up your offer to walk in your gardens. In the lands of the East Continent me and my friends had taken to botany with some zeal...although our crop was mostly diviner's sage and poppy. Most flowers may bring cheer, but there are some that bring much more." Enoch winked at Bowie with a mischievous grin. "For now, if it pleases the Lady Abbigal, it would be good to join you in welcoming your guests."

Enoch spied another guest making his entrance, he beckoned Claude to join them. "Ah, Sir Claude Onyxis, how do you fare?" Enoch tipped his glass in greeting to the realm's Overseer.

Roleplay from Kiyth Ilyrians

The Ice King had been riding all day from Flow to arrive in Flowrestrown for the Demon's party.

Kiyth had no taste for showmanship; however, his daughter had insisted he wear his regal armor, and he was never good at saying no to her. The armor was brought all the way from the East Continent, a gift from his brother Nick, made by the finest smiths of the realm of Sirion, the elven realms, not one smith had been found that was better than the elves. The breastplate was made of a metal no longer in existence and gleamed with a light blue tint giving off a feeling that Kiyth was glowing. The greaves he wore were made out of white gold which he had stolen from the Daemons in one of his escapades of his youth. He had forgone wearing a helmet as he wanted people to see what he looked like finally.

Kiyth's face was deathly pale with a scar scrawling across the left side of his cheeks. He had two piercings in both of his ears. One was filled in with a ruby the other with a sapphire. Staring into his eyes was said to be like staring into the ocean at night, for they were of the deepest blue he had seen.

Kiyth had decided to ride his white mare, Iola to the party and had foregone the carriage on this brisk night for the cold did not affect him. Upon arriving at Sir Bowie's estate he dismounted and handed the reigns to a frightened stable boy, for he stood at six foot seven inches. with a broadsword swung across his back.

However, his voice quickly soothed the boy's shaking as it sounded like a gentle father talking to his newborn.

Kiyth figured he should leave the sword at the gate as he had no intentions of using it and the dagger strapped to the side of his leg was enough to defend himself with.

Striding into the manor he searched around for the other nobles, and upon seeing the Lady Abbigal went over to greet her

He saw that she had some wine in her hand already and that a young noble was standing with her with their arms intertwined and he chuckled to himself "Oh how the young men flock after Lady Abbigal's beauty"

He stopped in front of them

"Lady Abbigal I see you have decided to start the festivities early and I see this young man here has fallen for you already. You are as beautiful as ever Abbigal and it warms the ice in my bones seeing you tonight"

Turning to the other he said

"Greetings I am the Ice King Kiyth Ilyrians, and you are?. I see you have become entranced with the Lady's beauty, and so you should be. She is too modest about her own beauty and needs to be reminded every now and again."

"Now have either of you two seen the Demon yet? I must talk to him about where the wine I sent him from Flow is, for I see this stuff you are drinking is most certainly not his best."

Roleplay from Claude Onyxis

Claude spied Sir Enoch beckoning him, and with a smile went to greet him and the other guests who had arrived.

"Ah, Sir Enoch, how wonderful to see you! And Lady Abbigal, might I say how magnificent you look!"

Claude's approach was simultaneous with the approach of a very tall man in the finest suit of armor Claude had ever seen. The man looked quite intimidating, and from descriptions he had heard Claude knew this could be none other than the Ice King Kiyth. He turned to greet the man, glad to meet him in person at last.

Roleplay from Abbigal Pike

Abbigail could do nothing but just stand there as she became surrounded by the men of Swordfell. She sometimes wondered if it was a curse to be one of the few Lady Nobles in the realm. She always seemed to get more attention then she wanted. Abbigail smiled at Enoch's answer about liking the realm and was surprised to hear the knight had a interest in gardens as it was not something common for a knight so young. Abbigal was surprised at how Lord Kiyth looked not because and not for the reason one would think. Abbigal wondered why he chose to wear armor to this sort of event. The way Kiyths face looked while a bit surprising did not shock or scare her. Abbigal had seen more dead then she cared to think about and quite a few of her men had scares that would match Lord Kiyths. She gave him a good curtsy before replying

"Hail Ice King, that is some nice armor you have. I will admit that it makes me feel very underdressed. I already feel naked not wearing my armor and now you show up in this. I would hope you are not expecting a battle here? I do not think we will be attacked but I am sure you could defend us all."

Abbigal did not see the Overseer coming she was so caught up watching the Ice Lord. It was not until he as talking that Abbigal noticed him. Abigail turned to him and smiled at his greeting and gave him a curtsy as well.

"Greetings Lord Claude, I hope Sir Enoch here serves you in Fatexna as good as he served me in this city. I hope your duties as our realms banker are not to taxing on you? I am glad to see you to have decided to go with some simple party clothes. Maybe I do not need to feel to bad for what I chose to wear after all."
