Silnarian Military Decorations

War is hell. It stains the souls of all involved, both the good and the bad. However, it is in times like these that the truly heroic can distinguish themselves. For only those that have been tested by extreme circumstances. It is only right that these brave souls be rewarded for their actions. The awards given them for feats on the field of battle serve to display their feats, and distinguish them in way nothing else can. These decorations are not to be taken lightly, blood was shed in the earning of these awards, and good Silnarians died in the acts involved.

The Royal Silnarian Medal of Valor

The highest award possible for a Silnarian noble. To be awarded this, you must do something that is truly inspiring to your fellow Silnarians. The recipient must be both brave and noble.

The Silvered Crowned Owl Service Cross

Awarded to only those brave nobles, and their family members, who fall in battle serving their realm. They will never be forgotten, and forget not the sacrifice their families made as well.

The Meritorious Service Medal

Given to those who do not fight on the battlefield, but go above and beyond the call of duty. Their job may not bring as much glory as victory on the field of battle, but it is required all the same. For those who manage to distinguish themselves, or give great sacrifice for the good of the realm, there is this medal.

Silnarian Order of the Pious and Righteous of Earth and Stone

As a holy land to the Way of the Warrior Saints, Silnarian faithful have crafted this award for those Knights and Nobles who have shown piety and obedience to the Holy Saints.

For service in the war with the cruel forces of Minas Leon.

The Wounded Wings

For receiving a wound in combat. A bronze owl feather is the first reward. When and if the recipient receives 10 bronze feathers, he or she recieves a bronze wing. The wing goes to the right side of the chest, and on the left the recipient can receive more bronze feathers. When the recipient recieves enough for another wing, the recipient receives Silver Owl Wings.
