Serpentis Family/Erik Eyolf/The Soft Parade
Erik was again in Trinbar. After the battles in Sermbar. After the enormous distribution of gold in Sirion. The walls of Trinbar were completely reconstructed. The past had been back. The old walls were history. Erik dropped Al Amarah's walls and reconstructed great walls in Trinbar. In a few days, demonstrating all the economical power of Trinbar and of the Serpentis family.
An investment was made and the workers were in uproar. The activity in Trinbar was immense and to control the situation the Judge executed a patriotic speech... that obviously resulted in the activity of the guards of the town, arresting some suspects. Erik always knew as leading the things. First he exercised his power, later he promoted a good party and calm down the population, inspiring the men with the histories of the battles against Fontan and spreading mercy.
The Stormwalkers were protecting the northern gates in the bridge that took to Dragon's Nest where Judge Erik, Captain Karl and Nesrah discussed the steps for the next days.
Erik Eyolf: "I want that you call the bard and the people. I want to make speeches about the reconstruction of the fortifications in Trinbar and accept a new Knight in an appropriate ceremony."
Captain Karl: "M'lord, many Knights continue asking for gold... now is the right moment for a ceremony like this?"
Erik Eyolf: "Good Captain, you know that of the last time I gave you 70 good soldiers. Of this time you didn't receive more than 15. Until the gold for our troops was distributed. Unhappily I cannot supply the oath of all the Knights of Sirion."
Nesrah: "You are right, Judge Erik. I was accompanying your administrators and on this week you will have distributed and invested more than a thousand gold."
Erik Eyolf: "Call the bard..."
Many farmers could not abandon the work, but coaches arrived with beautiful women and their daughters. Light dresses and blooms in the hair. Some used silk dresses and they seemed very different... probably Sir Ryu's people. In the city the women and men were more elegant, many were important merchants. The lateral streets had been closed for lines of guards and militia soldiers. They were dressed appropriately with the black clothes and the red emblem of the serpent. They seized the spears, maintained the population out of the central square where Judge Erik would make speeches in front of the great white tree.
The Judge crossed the bridge protected by Captain Karl's sword and blessed by the spells of Nesrah. The armor of Elune shone because many employees spent the night polishing it with sand. A beautiful deep green cape completed the Judge's image. The people began being anxious. And the bard sang:

The song was an obvious recognition of the acts of the Marquis Erik Eyolf Serpentis. The man that was chosen by Sirion to defend Trinbar and consequently to be the first wall between the enemies and the heart of Sirion City. The dancers coiled the Judge, enchanting him and throwing flowers. Beautiful women with silk dresses and the priestess of Trinbar with deer horns in her head. Actors of the people staged great duels between Erik and the "lions" of Fontan. Then arrived the beer and the agitation. The people of Trinbar savored the return of their Lord. The good Judge of Sirion. The champion of Sirion and guardian of Trinbar. A good night to commemorate.
