A Messenger, an Observer and a Blessing

Roleplay from Erik Eyolf Serpentis

Erik had left orders for Nesrah and Gormok. A sorcerer and an executioner. Gormok was the responsible for the prisoners, the counter espionage and rebellious movements inside of Sirion. A man to be feared. Nesrah was the old sorcerer that protected the histories of the family and ended up becoming a great specialist of the memories of Sirion. Nesrah didn't need protection, but Erik was curious in many aspects. Then Gormok would have hawk eyes to observe the estete of Sir Ryu. The priestess of Trinbar found the two men in the central square under the great white tree. On that occasion she dressed the sacred mantle of Elune, probably done with silver threads. In her hand there was a staff sculpted of a firm branch of the white tree.

Gormok Auserwählt: "North..."

Gormok knew Trinbar in the palm of his hand. He had informers in many places. He was the eyes of the serpent. The group moved forward to the north and the road was long. Happily in the northern gates some men waited with the horses. Brown, black and white. Three beautiful creations of Elune. They moved forward to the north running along the palisades, under the view of the Dragon's Nest. To the roads with Sermbar. The guards opened the gates of reinforced wood. Guided by Gormok, the group was in direction of the strange estate. The village of the strange people. The Region of Lions.

North East Trinbar - The Region of the Lions

Roleplay from Ryu Hinamoto (Knight of Trinbar)

On the very north east of Trinbar close to the mountains an important village grows prosper everyday.

Ryu Hinamoto, a young but promising Samurai from the Lion clan in the very east arrived to Sirion for the aid of General Galmel, as his son Dilgaard Galmel requested the Samurai to help. With him he brought many of his followers of his village with the hope of show some of their culture and help Sirion all they can.

Once the Samurai swore loyalty to Trinbar he established his estates on the north east part of the region close to the mountains.

Visitors, mostly friends and the Judge Erik himself stands amazed about the weird structures of the houses, the frame of the houses are made of wood, and the weight is supported by vertical columns, horizontal beams, and diagonal braces. The walls of the houses are made of woven bamboo plastered with earth on the sides.

The behaviour of the people is subordinated, gentile, and with a strange calm that produces the visitors to feel awquard at the beginning but very comfortable once spended some time there.

Crossing the farming part and going up to a small hill we can found a bigger house used for ceremonies mostly when Ryu arrives into Trinbar. On the back part of that big house theres an improvised military center with a board where visitors can read "The Akodo Champions", some soldiers train in a very different way. They are Sirionites, trained as Rokugani Samurais, with their way of living and code of conduct but under the same cause, they are Ryus major project. Once they are ready they will contribute the realm in a great way.

As soon as a group of travelers appeared some childes get close to the group with smiling faces talking in a weird language. His faces were weird for this continent and with happiness they followed the group as if they were they escorts. When the group were at the entrance of Ryu's estates an old but healthy man approaches and with a smile on his face and a weird but funny tone he says:

"Aye!, welcome to the village of the lions!, the estates of Ryu Hinamoto. Are you coming for the theater play?"

Arriving in the Region of Lions

Roleplay from Erik Eyolf Serpentis

Nesrah observed the children and caught something inside of his bag. It was a cloth doll. He threw for one of the children and left that they will play. The horses now walked more slowly. The priestess was curious with the style of the constructions, although the houses don't go very different from the old houses of her people. When the man approached, Nesrah took the front. The sorcerer spoke the language of the elves and many human languages.

Nesrah: "I am Nesrah, the guardian of the memoirs. I serve Judge Erik Eyolf Serpentis, Marquis of Trinbar. My companions are Gormok Auserwählt, the eyes of our Judge and the priestess of Elune in Trinbar. Unhappily Judge Erik is traveling to Parm for a campaign in the north to protect Caqueta. He apologizes for the absence..."

Nesrah and the priestess were children of Elune. They were elves. The priestess was an incredibly beautiful woman and Nesrah was incredibly old, with the skin wrinkled like the barks of a centennial tree. Gormok was a rude man, a son of the Holy Father. He didn't have the traces or the sharp ears of the elves. He was robust and inspired fear. Nesrah continued:

Nesrah: "Gormok came to inspect the local administration and the soldiers' training. I came to observe the show and to learn what I can of your culture. The priestess came to bless the village and the pregnant women. We needed somebody to take care of the horses..."

The group abandoned the horses, ready to follow the host. They also waited that he presented himself.

Roleplay from Ryu Hinamoto (Knight of Trinbar)

The old man turns to yell something in this strange language. The foreigners could only notice the words "Kurae" and "Nijuko" when two young womans approached to the group and with gentile and delicate moves took care of the horses.

Strange: "Excuse my manners, I'm Nitta Urameki. I'm the one in charge of the village when Ryu isn't here. Feel free to inspect the village. We got proper farms and close to the river our finest fishermen are doing an intense work with our methods of course."

The old man leaded the group through the village. Peasants looked weird but happy and it was strange that they just turned once to see the foreigners and immediately came back to the work with joy. They turned to the river and there there was plenty of boats with mens and birds with ropes on their necks and feet.

Nitta Urameki: "This are the fishermen, they use an old technique of fishing that is called Ukai. We use this birds called cormorant birds that are native of our lands and that we brought. There are three persons on each boat and one is the leader that guides the birds with the leash. This birds catches the fishes and the other two in the boat grabs it when the leader makes the birds come back to the boat."

The old man could notice the weird faces of the nobles sent by the Judge Erik and continued through the village heading to a big house on the hills

Nitta Urameki: "Aye!, this is our ceremonial house and place where Ryu stays when he comes. We use it also for celebrations such as marriages, festivals, and all kind of events in the village. As you might notice we have settled up the place for the theater play but unfortunately it has been postpone. Ryu came for a few hours cause he received a note of his marshal and immediately traveled out to Sermbar he said."

After crossing the house, the old man leaded the group to a beautiful garden that was down the hills. There was a group of man aligned dressing weird armors. They were clearly fighters, and they look very similar to Ryu. There was a man standing in front of another twelve. Every time this man yelled the other twelve with an impressive fast move, swinged their katanas at the same time. The group started moving towards the fighters, on the way there they crossed a sign where everyone could read some strange letters followed by "Ryoushin Gardens, home of the Akodo Champions"

VOICE: "Champions, Salute!"

The men guiding the training orderer the rest a salute, immediately the twelve men put their katana back into their sheath and bowed all at the same time.

Nitta Urameki: "This are the Akodo Champions, trained the way Ryu was trained when he was a kid, he says they will bring a great help to Sirion. Now feel free to explore the place and ask me any questions you might have"

The old men took few steps away from the group, they were surprised about this place, such order, it was like a small civilization, full of peace and joy. Besides the twelve man group there were some barracks, probably the place where the Champions live, on the entrance a huge flag was standing, with seven big strange symbols painted in black.
