Beloved Margrave

Erik left Avamar before the celebrations. He marched with the Stormwalkers to control the situation in Limbar until a Lord was indicated. Throughout the morning he saw the fire in Trinbar and now he witnesses the spectacle of the swirling smoke. Obviously, letters from his former Knights had already arrived. Erik understood very well the love and hate that he could cause. He made his own smoke with his pipe, sitting on his horse in a quiet central square in a town of Limbar. All these regions belonged to him now under the command of his Lords.

Erik Eyolf: “Then, Sir Petrov want to join us in Avamar. He was loyal for a long time. I am sure that Sir Cimion will still in Trinbar to help there. He deserved the region much more than the young Lady. But we know how the consolation prizes works. And send a letter to Lady Rugina. Now she will have much more than a couple of warm baths and dark chambers. I will build a small palace at the Sirion River to enjoy the summer with her. Tell her she will be my special guest and my castle is her castle. I would like to offr oaths to all my Knights, but I don’t want to leave Trinbar empty with a mad Lady. Trinbar is more important than her. In any way, I will receive Petrov. And Lady Rugina if she wants. If Lady Rain wants to reborn with my old region she will need Knights that respect her.”

Scribe: “She burned the Dragon’s Nest...”

Erik Eyolf: "I know. And I don’t care. All I need is with me in Avamar. And I doubt she will discover the secret chambers. Mainly after the fire consumes everything in the surface. But if she wants to remove my name from the memories of Trinbar, she will have to destroy the fortifications there and kill all the people. As you know, every block has my name and my crest. And I rebuild it from the palisades. I don’t think she will be stupid enough. And in the end, the girl must have some secret desire asleep in her soul. She already knows my smell. She has lived with my shadow and under my power for a long time in Dolmbar and now in Trinbar. I hope this does not become an obsession. You know... she is very close of Handow now. And the old one deserves a young Lady to brighten up his last days. All these old Dukes end up lonely in their strongholds. But I'm still young. And I'm still eager to march with my armies...”

Scribe: “Should I send her a letter... perhaps...”

Erik Eyolf: “No. Leave her alone. We have more important things to do than discuss with the new couple of Sirion. Love is so sweet. About the Dragon’s Nest… I wouldn’t like to know that the brat is sleeping where I lay down with real women. Let’s march… I want to see my walls before leaving our lands.”

Erik took a last swig on his pipe and gave orders to Captain Andre. The Stormwalkers ended the morning activities and returned the march to Sirion City. Erik returned to stay calm as the face of a lake. He even smiled. He would laugh, but he preferred to keep the laughter to a more appropriate time. Avamar was boiling in activities. And he also had plans for major reforms. Fortunately he didn’t need the fire.
