An Old Song to Remember and Think

Judge Erik Eyolf arouse from the Avamar dungeons to the Stronghold walls. He observed the sky and some falcons hunting small birds while in the ground the crows and vultures gathers to pull off some eyes and brains. In that place at that time he remember an old song.

I'm not a slave to anyone

Nobody, master of my domain

I know what I should defend

We traveled seven leagues

Among abysses and forests

These days are unfair.

I am iron, lightning and thunder

I am iron, I'm the gold in your coat

I am iron, I know the breath of the dragon.

I know my regret

When all is treason

What I am finding

It's the virtue in our hands.

My land is my land that is

And always will

My land has a moon and stars

And always will.

And, for honor, if there is truth

There are fools and there is a thief

And some that would eat what is stolen

But I'll keep my treasure

If you are lying.

Look at the dragon's breath...

It's true what haunts

The neglect that condemns

The stupidity, which destroys

I see everything that was

And that no longer exists

I have already numb the senses,

The body wants, the soul understands.

I want a sword in my hands.

I am iron, lightning and thunder

I am iron, I'm the gold in his coat

I am iron, I know the breath of the dragon.

I do not surrender without a fight

I still have my heart

I never learned to surrender

Then, that the enemy falls!

And our history will not be upside down

Like this, without a happy ending.

We will have nice things to tell.

And until then, we live

We have much to do

Do not look back

We just begun.

The world begins now!

Just begun!
