The Secret Ritual
Elune Welcomes a Young Dragon

The young Sir Durion was riding Mist, a beautiful black mare, a gift of his father. In an act of pure instinct and with sovereignty in his eyes, he dominated the animal and quickly learned to master the new art. Lord Erik had mocked him at the night when they was in Braga. When he awoke, the Judge murmured:

Erik Eyolf: "Have you ever slept with a woman?"

Durion Eyolf: "Yes... on the coldest nights I slept with my mother and my aunt."

Erik Eyolf, laughing: "It's a good start. But I meant something else. Anyway, what you said has already answered my question. Send your soldiers to Sirion City. You must go to Dolmbar, where I served as Knight and later have ruled as Lord by the first time. There you must go into the forest. Alone. Listen to the whispers. Be ready. I recognize you now as my legitimate son. But to be a Serpentis, you need to ascend to the Goddess."

The Dark Ones was a small group of twenty men that Durion gathered in Braga before his departure. They were hunters, young and ambitious. They went alone to Sirion with a letter of the Judge of Sirion. And under the watchful eyes of the law, they never disbanded. Then, the young boy followed the road to Dolmbar.

Durion lived in a dream. He came in Dolmbar while the moon rose to the dark sky. Only a torch illuminate his path. And before entering the whispering forests, he saw the wooden sign seen by Erik years ago.

Beware

With the woods at night

He was not afraid. He used to run free through the forests of Braga under the silvery glow of the moon. He was not afraid until began to hear the first whisper under the owl's gaze. There was magic in those woods. But even with some trepidation, he followed the whispering voices. At some point the mare hasn't advanced anymore. He had to abandon the animal, tying him to a tree. Now he was completely alone, even though he knew the forest was populated by voices and hidden sights. Following his instincts, he came to a glade where there were some remnants of a temple. Only a circle of stones and an old fountain with an altar.

Female Voice I: "He's handsome like the father..."

Female Voice II: "Yes... and young like when we knew his father..."

Female Voice III: "Undress!"

Durion obeyed the imperious order. He undressed quickly, trying to found from where they came those beautiful voices. And they sang:

Wild child full of grace

Savior of the human race

Your cool face

Natural child, terrible child

Not your mother's or your father's child

Your our child, screamin' wild

An ancient lunatic reigns

in the trees of the night

With hunger at your heels

And freedom in your eyes!

And then the Godess' Priestesses appeared nude in the glade. Young, immortal and natural beauties. They brought flowers in their hair and one of them also wore a crown with horns of a deer. The seductive magic emanated from them. The spark of Elune dwelt those eyes, nude breasts, hips and hot thighs. They walked in a sacred dance, mesmerizing the young boy. The crown was placed on his head. A new Serpentis was born. Like Nesrah Serpentis was born and perished. Like Erik Eyolf Serpentis was born for the ascension of light to become the great Silver Dragon.

The music of the spheres above echoed through the forest. The great serpent, father and mother of everything, snaked beneath the earth. For a while the world shook and the stars exploded in the sky so intensely as when Viktoria Eyolf Serpentis named his grandson Erik Eyolf with his unspoken and unknown elvish name. For a moment the sleeping dragons yawned in their secret nests.

The sacred bonds went through the night over the altar. The young Durion woke up naked and exhausted. The avatars of the Goddess had drained all his essence and purified him with Elune's essence. And he understood what his father had asked. Finally he truly known the soul of a woman. Or three. And the Goddess personified in their bodies and souls. Now he could bear the legacy of his father.

Then he left Dolmbar to start his true journey.
