Meeting Sir Cenarious Stormrage

“I readied the coach milady” Hector announced as he entered the kitchen area.

“Very well, I’ll be ready shortly” she continued to carve flowers out of the last red apple slices. Reaching for a sugar cane she poked a cane through the core of the last slice and topped with off with a big fat juicy red grape. Sticking the final flower in the fruit basket she notice a few bananas on the table top, she quickly stuck them in between the fruit sticks to make the fruit basket full.

“There that should do it” please with her arrangement she placed a small blanket over it and went into her chambers and got dressed for the event. She hated not being able to ride there, but her dress would not permit travels with such a delicate fabric. She arranged her hair in strands around her head piece, colored her lips took a final glance in the mirror. Smiling pleased she dabbed herself with a fragrance of lilac.

“Tell Hector to bring the coach around Kara” she grabbed her shawl and headed to the fruit basket.

As they approached The Stormrage Estate, Kisharianda called for Hector to stop the coach as she wished to walk up to the estate on her own. Looking around she stopped and placed the basket down and looked at the scenery, she could tell that Cenarious still had much work to do here and made a note to offer any assistance if he needed extra hands at clearing some old falling trees with her own workers

Kish leaned forward and grabbed the basket “Heavier then I thought” She frowned and continued to the front gate. An old man stood at the door waiting for guest, he bowed at first eye contact, asking her name and announced her arrival to his lord.

Just as Cenarious was making his way to her, the basket starting moving. Startled, Kisharianda placed the basket on the ground and pulled the blanket half way back when a furry little creature jumped out and climbed up Cenarious arm resting on his shoulder eating his banana. “Oh my” surprised Kisharianda started to laugh

“Now where did you come from?” she looked at the monkey, cutest little black eyes looking back at her “I see you have found a treat” she pulled the blanket off the basket to find the fruits had been half eaten, and not a grape in site. Laughing, she rose to her feet at looked at Cenarious

“Well Sir Cenarious, I had brought a fruit basket for you but it seems your friend here had other plans” she smiled warmly and handed him the basket.

"That's MoMo for you." Cenarious chuckled before continuing in a mock tone of seriousness, "You know better then to take things that aren't yours you little fur ball. Now you had best thank the kind lady MoMo."

Rising up to his full height of around a foot tall, MoMo used the half eaten banana as a makeshift sword to salute Kisharianda and give her the smallest of bows before he scampered up Cenarious in search of approval. With MoMo on his shoulder tugging on his ear Cenarious couldn't help but reach over to scratch under his tiny chin just the way he liked it.

"Feel free to wander the garden my lady. There are a wide variety of refreshments spread throughout the grounds. I'd recommend trying the Cagilan Brandy or the Commonyr Red Ale. Both are quite excellent I can assure you."

Kisharianda raised her head and noticed the Queen having conversations as she walked through the garden, this was the perfect opportunity to introduce herself formally to the Queen since the move had overwhelmed her and the help at the estate.

Walking over towards the Queen, she stopped at a table and filled her glass with more ale and proceeded to meet The Great Queen Katayanna.

"My Queen" she half bowed "I am blessed to finally meet you" taking the Queen's hand she kissed it in honor "I am Kisharianda of the Onyxien family" she smiled

Katayanna smiled warmly and and nodded at Kish's gesture

"That is a stunning gown milady, that color compliments you very well" she admired the fabric with her eyes.

Katayanna Greeted Kisharianda with a warm smile. She felt as if she already knew this lovely lady from the letters she had recieved and the reports from her unit.

"Why Thank you. But I am afraid that it pales against your beauty."

Katayanna and Kisharianda walked and talked for a long time. The spoke of the army, the TO about to be restarted, and all the little details that Katayanna never got the chance to speak to anyone about lately. At least since Thalia was reported missing.

They found themselves in an obscure corner of the garden that overlook much of those gathered. Kisharianda was a bounty of information on all the nobles present, though she admitted not having met most of them personally.

their conversation eventually turned to the new marshal and Queen's Champion. They both agreed that there would be greatness in D'Hara's future.

This continued on for most of the evening. Kisharianda was monopolizing the Queens company and Katayanna found that she rather enjoyed it. Another woman's point of view was hard to come by for her at the moment.

This was the kind of socializing that she enjoyed. A new friend, no, and old friend made manifest. Katayanna decided to keep this one close.

The evening wore on and it was obvious that they would have to rejoin the rest of those gathered or it would seem rude.

They took their time in returning.

Resting comfortably in the cleft of a large willow tree Cenarious sipped his glass of Cagilan brandy and enjoyed the privacy afforded by the weeping branches. Hanging from a nearby branch of his hiding spot Kisharianda's fruit basket hung down gently rocking as MoMo rummaged through it enthusiastically. His little belly was showing a bit of a bulge from all that he had eaten already but he showed no signs of stopping any time soon.

Movement off to the side drew Cenarious's attention away from his furry companion as two ladies were availing themselves of the privacy afforded by the overgrown garden. Although from his angle he couldn't yet see their faces he could certainly enjoy watching their luscious curves as they sashayed past. He couldn't quite make out their words but he could tell they were deep in conversation as they paused to examine a flowering bush not far from the willow in which he sat.

The ladies seemed to be quite friendly with each other but Cenarious was perceptive and he judged them to be of different stations. The nearest was dressed in a lovely black dress and her hair was bound up by a ribbon or perhaps a small chain, he couldn't quite tell from this perspective. Though her garb was lovely the farther of the two was dressed even more richly in a beautiful gown and she held herself with such poise that Cenarious could have no doubt as to her identity.

Though he knew the grounds were secure, and that he himself was hidden as only a skilled woodsmen could be, he still intended to have a word with the Queen's guards for being so slack as to allow him to sit this close to her unobserved. He took his duty as Marshal of the Queen's personal guard far too seriously to allow such a lapse as this to go unpunished.

His ruminations were stopped dead in their tracks however when the Queen's companion bent at the waist to pluck a flower that had caught her eye. Cenarious couldn't help but be instantly enamored of her, shall we say, well rounded posterior. As she straightened he followed the graceful curve of her back with his eyes and was reward with her identity as she showed him her silhouette when she sniffed the flower she was twirling between her slender fingers. He had thought her beautiful when he had met her earlier that night but now he was smitten.

As he sought to calm his suddenly racing mind he felt the wet smack of fruit pulp as it struck his cheek. Giving MoMo a playfully angry glare Cenarious yanked the little hellion out of his basket by his tail. Always one to rough house MoMo dropped the fruit in his hands and twisted in Cenarious's grasp, wrapping himself around his wrist and beginning to gnaw on Cenarious's hand. Though his nibbles were hardly gentle MoMo knew better then to break the skin or play too rough so Cenarious allowed him to continue his battle with his sword hand. Drawing MoMo in close he decided to change tactics and began tickling the little fur ball's now round belly. Squirming under the assault MoMo gave Cenarious a look that seemed to say "No fair your using two hands!" before he finally managed to break free and dart back up to his fruit basket.

Chuckling softly at MoMo's antics Cenarious look back towards where he had been watching his Queen speak with Lady Kisharianda. Sadly for him their lovely visages were no where to be seen. Frowning up at MoMo Cenarious mumbled "Damn monkey.." under his breath. His grumbling was of course answered with another salvo of fruit pulp and so their battle began a new...

Kisharianda excused herself politely giving the Queen some time to mingle amongst the crowd and continued to admire her surroundings, she felt comfortable here there was a sense of peace. She quietly found recluse by a large tree adorned with wild flowers, the more she looked around the more she could see how Cenarious also had a weakness for animals and nature itself. Marbled bird baths spread over through the garden, wild fruits growing all around. Perched on one of the bird baths Maky picked at the honey sickle growing nearby.

Approaching she leaned in closer “Maky! “ the bird looked up at her with her beak tearing into the flower “you can’t eat all the sickles” she smiled “Leave some for the others” Maky jumped a few inches away and picked at another leaf. Kisharianda smiled and shook her head. She giggled to herself and picked a leaf pulling the flower tip carefully out of the stem and brought the sweet stickiness to her mouth “hmm I see why you’re here” she looked at Maky again

“I see you’re a fan of birds milady” Kisharianda startled turned around and found Cenarious standing there smiling at her. At his approached Maky flew up to rest in a tree.

Kisha cleared her throat “Yes I like birds” she concealed the sickle in her hand. With all the foods and beverage Cenarious had to offer she had withdrawn herself to a bush of honey sickles. She found herself suddenly embarrassed, fixing her dress appropriately looking at the man standing before her. She didn’t’ want to come off as being a barbarian ravaging through his garden for sustenance when there where trays of food available all around.

“This is quite the estate Sir Cenarious” she began to slowly walk toward the path discretely throwing the sickle stem to the ground “It must be peaceful when it’s not so full” she smiled. Kisharianda was usually good in conversing with people she was a woman with great confidence but in the presence of Cenarious she felt almost shy, this feeling was something she was not used to.

“Let me show you around” he offered his hand. With his touch she noticed the roughness and small scars showing heavy workmanship, clearly the hands of a woodmen, looking up his arms the larger scars indicated he had seen many battles as well.

Cenarious was a handsome man, he carried an air about him that felt familiar, his skin war dark, his hair was a light shade of brown almost a dirty blonde waving lightly passed his broad shoulders, his chest stuck out from the massive muscles he hid under his tunic, and his arms could barely fit the small hands of a woman around them. But what caught Kisharianda’s curiosity the most was the serious stare in his deep emerald green eyes, she blushed looking at him and for a moment felt the butterflies at work in her stomach.

“I’m afraid I will not be staying late this eve Sir Cenarious, I do have matters to attend to” pulling up her shawl around her shoulders. “But I would like to invite you to my estate for a late dinner” she stopped “You can bring MoMo I’ll have the chefs prepare a fruit basket for him” she laughed and waited for his response

"I swear that fur ball eats better then me!" Cenarious laughed. "I get the feeling MoMo is falling love with you my dear, and as beautiful as you are I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't the only one here doing so."

Cenarious couldn't help but smile when her face blushingly lit up with a sweet little smile. "I'd be honored to attend you when ever my duty permits my lady." Cenarious began saying before he was interrupted by MoMo flinging himself out of the nearest tree and on to Cenarious's shoulder. Well used to such antics from his mischievous little friend, Cenarious smoothly continued while reaching up to scratch MoMo's head. "Did you know MoMo can jump somewhere in the neighborhood of ten times his body length? I only mention the fact because it means no where in the garden is really safe from his pranks. Seeing how enamored he is of you I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to cope a feel."

As if he was suddenly embarrassed MoMo reached over and took hold of Cenarious's hair, hiding his face from Kisharianda's view by ducking behind Cenarious's head. After a few moments of hiding MoMo peaked out at her only to dodge back behind Cenarious's head once again when as soon as he saw her still trying to catch a glimpse of him.

"Don't say I didn't warn you my lady." Cenarious whispered conspiratorially.
