Olik Family/Astarond
Although rumored to have been an "adventurer" at some point before arriving in Cathay, these rumors have proven totally insubstantial. Typical of his family, he has not seen or spoken with other prominent nobles of the house (such as Elerik Taim) since childhood and does not currently have a relationship with them.
Cathay
At twenty years of age he arrived in Cathay, and after about a week was sworn to allegiance by Duke Galiard of Anacan. He took part in the campaign against Arcaea, fighting his first Battle in Lasop (Jan-03 2008). His personal guard was hit heavily late in the battle, with sixteen casualties causing the rest to retreat from the battle. But he gained much honor and prestige as a result of the solid victory for Cathay, remained in the field for several days afterward, and then marched home.
