Magna Serpaensism/Creation of the World

In the Great Beginning, there was only the Aer. The Aer is all and everything is made of Aer. The Aer is order but it is also chaos, it is justice and injustice, being and nothing. From the Aer came Magnus, and the Aer was Magnus the Great Serpaent. Out of the Aer Magnus created the world in which his children should live. First he created the waters where he would dwell, deep within its murky and cold depths for it reminded him of Aer and its primal power. Out of the waters he fashioned the land upon which he caused grasses to grow, and trees to thrive. So that the land upon which his children would hold dominion would forever be connected to him he caused the storms of the oceans to rain water upon the land, and thus did he make the world.

Magnus was to rest in the darkest depths of the seas, but first did he create seven guardians to watch over and tend to the new world which he had created. Pure, and righteous were these guardians, and at their head was Calamar who served as their captain. Granted the power to live in the seas as Magnus the Great Serpaent did, Calamar led the other guardians, Glaux, Lykos, Nymkos, Brusus, Corvus, and Vulpes. Only then did Magnus slumber and deep in the depths of the oceans ponder in dreams how his children should be formed.
