On the Hunt Again

She bent down on one knee, studying the barely noticeable trail of broken twigs and scattered leaves upon the woodland ground. Overhead, within the expansive, green canopy, curious birds observed the lone figure while chirping to each other as they perched upon the branches. The young woman frowned as she estimated the tracks to be at least a day old. Still, it was something, and a telltale sign that she was indeed improving her skills.

With a nearly inaudible rustle, the sylvan figure rose and set off once more upon her latest hunt with renewed resolve, now that she had confirmed the rumored sightings in the forests of Azohib.
