The clan of Zackary
The Clan of Zack are the largest and most powerful Clan in the tribe of the Khans, as they are the descendants of Zachariah eldest son Zackary. Zackary was said to be one of the greatest warriors in history, and the strong blood line he has left behind revels this perfectly.
All members of the clan have white hair, and dark brown, or red to light red eyes and the rarer light blue hues. They have ebony colored complexion. This leads many to believe that the Clan of Zack had mixed with the blood of dark elves.
This however is untrue, but still the rumors remain and for what any knows it could very well be true. But such things cannot be proven. What is known thought much of the clans history the clan of Zack had always tried to keep there blood line ‘pure” to the point of fanaticism.
For many years, and in fact only recently has this changed, the clan of Zack have breed there line. Killing of those who were deemed to weak or incompetent and those that we thought to be inferior, males only married those of the tribe of the Khan’s, such as distant relatives. The descendants of Zack also inherited the warrior sprite of Zackary Khan, and his berserker bloodline tendencies, from the moment they can talk and walk they are trained in the ways of the warrior, often trainings solely in the martial arts though swordmages are not frowned upon since they still fight in close melee, honing there skills and strengthening there body though vicious rights of passages.
Archery and sorcery by and large is looked down upon, warriors of Zack prefer fighting their opponents up close in heavy melee for battle is what they live for. Thus the think the clan of Dry cowards (though still respect some of their warrior prowess), and the Curu`Àlak clan just as cowardly.
Failing the right to passage means one is not yet a man, and failing a total of three times means they are ether abandoned by there family, or even killed. Weakness is never tolerated in the family, because of these harsh methods however they Clan of Zack are of some of the strongest, if not thee strongest, group of warriors there is.
Many seek out members of this clan to hire them as mercenaries or soldiers. The right of passage, it is said, is so harsh that only a member of the clan of Zack even stand a chance of surviving. It is though hiring themselves off as sell swords to the Empire or even aboard to other realms is how the Clan largely acquires most of its wealth and ability. the other Clans also hire the Zack warriors as mercenaries, epically the Clan of Dray.
Years if not centuries of working as mercenary's, has finally evaluated the clan as a whole to the level of nobility because of there prowess through combat. every member has always excelled in the art of war in all it's forms, they have Superior, endurance, strength, and stamina to most other men.
The weapon and armor smiths of Zack are some of the best in the region. Though it is said their skill pales when compard to a certaint clan far to the east in Eston.
