Having heard rumours of the discovery of the continent called Dwilight, Kolya was eager to find his way there. Fearing his lack of experience in warfare will be detrimental to his health, let alone his prospects, he travelled to the East Continent and joined the coastal realm of Yssaria. He hoped that a bit of seasoning in a realm at war will teach him lessons on survival on the battlefield. Of course, he didn't tell anyone else about this.

He pledged his services to Bran Stark, the Arch Priest of Yssaria and Count of Abadan.

The first battle he took part in was an ill-fated attempt to stop the takeover of Supra by Caligus. His archer unit, Wasp, was wiped out in one enemy cavalry charge though he himself escaped unscathed.

Due to the lack of battles and thus unable to hone his skills on the field, Kolya decided to leave Yssaria and head back to the family estates to prepare for an expedition into Dwilight. (ooc.. character deleted.. then recreated)

After a long sea trip, Kolya eventually arrived in the coastal city of Madina. With him were the 17 men who survived the voyage.

He pledged his service to the Governor of Madina City and is declared a Citizen of Madina. Whilst the Grand Doge Abbot and the government gets on with the construction work, Kolya decided to ask fellow Citizens of the City to join him in practice sword fights, in the form of duels to the first blood. (ooc.. eh.. that was the RP anyway... duel to surrender was the game mechanics.. which apparently wasn't supposed to be used lightly..) His first bout was with Borreas "The Brave" Marrion and he lost.

Following his successful campaign to the east with the Expeditionary Fleet, where the regions of Fissoa, Fissoa Fields and Libba were brought into the Republic, Kolya refitted at the capital and headed west with the Fleet. He came across a huntsman, Escent whilst travelling through Madina Gardens and told his page to buy some game meat off the man. Interestingly, the huntsman mentioned he had hunted something better, and produced a ring called Fool's Girdle, which Kolya bought for 9 gold and a letter of recommendation. He also promised to introduce the huntsman to his Liege, the Governor of Madina, should the huntsman come across similar items.

After a few battles with monsters and undead, where his men either did not get to fight the enemy due to overcrowded from lines, or suffered heavy losses, Kolya decided the name engraved on the ring was simply a joke - on whoever was trying to decipher its meaning. Due to the lack of healers, Kolya had to leave the his wounded men, the last of the unit, to fend for themselves against the monsters, and fled back to the capital. Unable to find more men, he decided to used the administrative skills learnt from his cousin, Yosef. Eventually, he gained enough gold and was finally able to recruit a unit of 35 men under the banner of "Expeditionary Marines" along with a captain called Gothard. He headed towards Panamana, only to have to retreat to Bol when the monsters in Panamana headed towards Lugagun, where he was. The peasants in Bol were not impressed with the strength of his unit and refused to join the Republic. (ooc.. 38 men required) After his scouts returned with the news that monsters and undead infested all three regions surrounding Bol - Tovabur, Fatmilak and Lugagun, Kolya took his frustrations out on the peasants and looted some gold. He was fined 10 gold by the judge for the action.

After Gilead Draconic vacated his Seat, Kolya was appointed the Governor of Madina City. Perhaps it was because no one else staked a claim. Regardless, it was a time of change, coming right when a new Lord Court Master was to be elected and the secession of the Duchy of Fissoa to form a new realm of the Grand Duchy of Fissoa. Not to mention a projected bad harvest.

The boy page, Sir Nicolo, who had been with Kolya since he was a Citizen was given a title - Secretary of the Governor. After all, he was no longer a mere page, but a full knight.

The elections went badly. The officials were too incompetent to hold a proper election (ooc.. bugs, missing election options, etc). In the end, Kolya had to hold the Seats of the Lord Admiral and Lord Court Master as caretaker. Soon he was able to step down as caretaker Lord Admiral as someone stepped up to hold the post.

Towards the end of April, a proper election was finally held for the Seat of the Lord Court Master. This time, it went smoothly, insofar as there was an election and the winner was appointed. Sadly, there was a lack of interest in the election, despite nobles previously protesting the lack of one. Kolya was finally able to step down from that caretaker postion. He chose to elect himself to the Seat of the Lord Purser when the former occupant stepped down at roughly the same time.

In early May, calamity befell Madina. (ooc... bugs!!!) The Grand Doge was somehow expelled from office and Kolya has no choice but to elect himself the Grand Doge, seeing as he was the only one that can run for the position. He stepped down as Governor in favour of the former Grand Doge.

The first winter came and the City starved. The starvation continued well into spring as the Governor at the time either did not, or was not able to direct his officials to buy food from caravans. Food distribution was eventually restored, however the population and tax income has yet to recover. Kolya decided then that he would see out the second winter and then step down from all government positions. Towards the end of the second winter, barely a week or two before he planned to step down, a rebellion was started by one Sir Stefan d'Peabee, self styled Pirate Lord and King. It was put down, rather easily albeit not swiftly.

Having stepped down, Kolya continued working on restoring Panafau to a somewhat proper shape, whilst deciding what he would do next. Probably a trip beyond the borders of the Republic after a bit of training.

August 09, Kolya was elected as Lord Court Master. He hasn't ventured beyond the borders afterall, but has been working on various regions on the twin Isles, mostly concentrating on the more westerly parts.

Made Landowner of Candiels Fields. Subsequently killed there by something unknown whilst the undead/monsters were actually departing. Adopted Sir Nicolo into family prior to that.
