Song of the Daydreaming Count, popularly known as Lordlypants

This was one of the songs the former-Count of An Najaf, the Hero of Democracy, sung before he was tossed out by the peasants one of the many times he was. He says this was probably the reason they went rogue, and he is probably right. He also said that it was these types of civil songs that drove him to want to return to the battlefield where he could find real things to sing about.

This was originally made public in a letter to Sir Theros Landre and was slightly different than the one presented here. The reason for this was a change in subject and a switch in tense in the last two lines.

(To the tune "Spongebob Squarepants")

OH!

I sat on a chair making decrees,

Lordly Hero,

Bored to tears and needing glory,

Lordly Hero,

If battle and mayham be something I wished,

Lordly Hero,

I could but join the Lions and get ready to swish!

Lordly Hero!

Ready?

Lordly Hero! Boredly Hero! Lordly......Hero!!
