The Spellmasters
It began long ago in the time before men came to the world.At this time Spellmasters ruled the world.They mastered a magic that is incomprehensible to humans.They created great artifacts,artifacts of terrible power.They were masters of the cosmos and none could challenge them.
The Twilight
Then a new order arose to challenge the ancient Spellmasters.These were the gods,Luna and Sol.These gods were made from the very fabric of the universe.Luna god of peace,and Sol God of War.They came to challenge the chaos that had taken control of the world.
The Wars
The spellmasters however,would not release their control easily.They rose up and challenged the new order.The powers that were released warped the passage of time.Powers that have never been seen since.The war raged for aeons.But,the spellmasters were old and the gods just come to their power.The gods destroyed the spellmasters and their magic and set about creating the world that we have now.
The Legacy
The artifacts which the spellmasters created were not lost during the Chaos wars.Some of them still can be found in this world. It is these things which must not be captured by the forces of chaos.The Guardians of twilight are dedicated to keeping these artifacts from the wrong hands.
