Parcival is the second born son of the Third Generation. His hair is black as the night and he has a sinister-looking grey eyes. His path is that of the sword which is why Parcival boasts himself to be a hero. For him the battleground is sanctity and skillfulness with the steel is the only true sign of nobility. His fate as the younger brother has been similar to that of Tristan, which means he has been sent off from the family home into the white world to prove himself. He docked the city of York on the continent of Atamara in the Monarchy of Minas Ithil, where his desire for death and battle has been fulfilled and even tested through the acts of heroism. Preferring melee battle before anything else, he often finds himself battling with cold, brutal weapons such as the mace or an axe. He takes little care for proper defenses which is why shields are seldom seen in his arm, however, his defense in battle mostly relies on heavy armors and thick helmets. Riding a magnificent black stallion and screaming the war cry of St. Denis, Parcival is indeed a mighty and cruel warlord of the battlefield.

Whether it was his determination or simply his tactical skills, Parcival was admitted to the military command of Minas Ithil in a very short time considering the usual procedures and tradition of the Kingdom. As such, after being enlisted in the York's Elite Army for a few weeks, Parcival became the Vice Marshal after the death of the Ithilian hero, Malcor Deveraux, on the fields of Lyton. Sir Malcor was a Marshal of the York's Elite prior to his death, and the unfortunate event opened the space for Parcival. That provided a chance for Parcival to further pursue his military career on a much larger scale and responsibility.

In those days of weary battles and wars of attrition Parcival stumbled upon the Temple of the Way of the Warrior Saints during the campaign in Lothruin. The Warrior Saints thought Parcival about endurance and modesty wrapped in the wings of glory, which bolstered his keen spirit to continue battling on for both Minas Ithil and his own place in this world.

In the spring of the year 2010 the throne of Minas Ithil was emptied after the previous King disappeared, and among a few other nobles Parcival stepped up bravely for the Crown. Although he did not win the referendum he led a powerful and determined campaign which gained him 72 votes and the position of a first runner up against the winner. Dead Angel, the son of the first King of Minas Ithil was proclaimed as the new King of Minas Ithil with 102 votes. A few days later he also ran for the position of the Justiciar of the realm, and had similar results. Nevertheless, Parcival's greater public interests did open some doors to him. In those trying times when the realm of Minas Ithil depended on their heroes to carry out the weight of a difficult war and soon after York's independence declaration, Parcival was given the Marshalship of the Legion of Minas Ithil, at that time the largest army of his fair realm, and he also made a temporary oath as the knight Cantervern until York was retaken. Thereof, in the spring of 2010 Parcival was in charge of the largest force of Minas Ithil and had lead the reconquest of the Pearl of the North, after which he rejoined the city of York in a service as a knight, and pledge allegiance to the new Duke of York, Relkin Sypher.

Crest and Signature

Parcival Crest.jpg

The crest of Parcival is more similar to the new banner of his House with the blue color dominating the crest, and has obviously absorbed some Ithilian characteristics. The Great White Gryphon is represented on the ground here and not in the air. The gryphon is also carrying a green twig and a yellow thunder in its right hand. The thunder symbol is not originally of the House Gryphonheart, which leads to believe that Parcival placed them there as a product of some events he lived through, or of the environment of his service, which is Minas Ithil. It is accustomed to believe that the thunder represents might and war while the green twig is often a symbol of peace, and since those two contradict each other it is highly unusual to see them together on one of the crests of House Gryphonheart.
