Geronus Family/Asturius

The eldest member of the family was born in Maycxal in Darka. There, he served for a year in Darka's mercenary forces, achieving a small amount of prestige and some notice in the realm. Toward the end of that year, he was imprisoned by forces from Falasan after being captured on the battlefield. During his imprisonment, his friend Quentin Snow launched an ill advised and ill fated rebellion against Queen Amaarent Vasata of Darka during which many friends of the Geronus family were caught and persecuted. After Quentin was nearly killed by a loyalist infiltrator, many of the Rebels chose to leave Atamara altogether before they were hunted down by loyalist forces. Asturius himself disappeared shortly after returning from his imprisonment, having probably been implicated as a potential rebel.
