July 2006 - Ubent abandon allies again Perdan and Caligus stand

Ubent now that Sirion and Fontan started assaulting Perdan immediately surrendered to Ibladesh, Yssaria and Itorunt. Leaving Caligus and Perdan to fight Ibladesh, Itorunt, Yssaria, Fontan and Sirion

Instrument of Armistice between the Republic of Ubent and the Southern Federation

Being necessary to ensure the survival of the Republic of Ubent, the aforementioned agrees to the following terms:

The Republic of Ubent will surrender and renounce all claims on the region of Winkamus to Federation member the Kingdom of Yssaria, until such time as the region is lost to another realm or either signatory ceases to exist.

The Republic of Ubent will surrender and renounce all claims on the region of Mines of Isadril to Federation member the Theocracy of Ibladesh, until such time as the region is lost to another realm or either signatory ceases to exist.

The Republic of Ubent will surrender and renounce all claims on the region of Moyale to Federation member the Empire of Itorunt, until such time as the region is lost to another realm or either signatory ceases to exist. As the Itorunt Empire currently shares no border with the Ubent Republic, the region will be surrendered to Ibladesh in trust until a further arrangement between Itorunt and Ibladesh is made.

The Republic of Ubent will limit its military forces to that force necessary only to defend against monsters, undead and other minor aggressors. This is considered as 6,000 Combat Strength. This value may be varied on situation and appeal to the Federation.

The Republic of Ubent will renounce its alliances with the Kingdoms of Perdan and Caligus. In return, the Federation will accept overtures of peace from Ubent, and guarantee no incursions on Ubent's borders unless any item of this instrument is broken by Ubent.

The Republic of Ubent agrees to deny safe harbour or passage to any former member of the Kingdoms of Perdan, Caligus or Kalmar sufficiently experienced to know the ways of their former realms.

These terms will be supported by the Republic of Ubent and the members of the Southern Federation. Should any party lapse in their duty, the remaining parties will agree on suitable chastisement.

Rebellion in Caligus

Due to Yssaria insisting that Queen Gwynyth has to be removed from the throne to even achieve peace Caligus moved to do so. Queen Gwynyth stepped aside and Vlad Nosferatu was hailed leader in her place. No fighting in Caligus actually occurred.

Perdan and Caligus positions deteriorate further

Perdan quickly lose their undefendable lands of Ar Mosul, Clermont, Woolton and Lorient to Itorunt and Ibladesh. The also lose Bescanon, Brive and Meuse to Fontan.

Caligus watch in dismay as Light of Fountain greedily sieze the region of Tokat.

Six Yssarian nobles were captured and the hero Yerli Marshal of Yssaria was killed.

Perdan push back claiming Brive, Meuse and Bescanon from Fontan.

July 18, 2006 – Perdan are defeated in Troyes barely by an equal amount of Fontan troops. Both sides are forced to refit. Itorunt leave Perdan declare war on Caligus.

Caligus doom seems to be approaching. Down to three region Domus, Scio and Nascot. They now face two realms 4 times their own size.

July 21, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Domus! The combined armies of Itorunt and Yssaria have attacked the Caligan capital. Despite the superior numbers of attacking troops, the defending Caligan army thoroughly defeated the attackers, capturing six enemy nobles in the process. (22,000 vs 16,000)

July 25, 2006 – Caligus reclaim Aestus after their fifth successful defence of their capital.

July 26, 2006 – Bescanon captured by Fontan once again

July 28, 2006 – Caligus defeat Yssaria assault of Aestus 9K vrs 8K

July 31, 2006 Battle fought in Partora. The fontanese and sirionites attacked the City of Partora (25000 CS vs. 17000 CS). The battle ended undecisive.

Second Battle in Partora. Fontanese and Sirionites again attacked Partora. (13000 CS vs. 5000 CS) Attacker Victory!

Partora Perdan’s capital has been breached.

Event - Both Yssaria’s General Abishur and Caligus Banker Talless the Tactical were killed by lightning bolts from the gods.

Yssaria asks Caligus to surrender and die

Yssaria announce that peace with Caligus would only happen if Caligus give up Domus."The choice for Caligus is clear, some honor in defeat, or total dishonor leading to total destruction." The Yssarian demands for peace with Caligus include the surrender of Domus, the Caligan capital city. As Domus is also Caligus' only city, and none of their other remaining regions is a townsland region, that would mean the destruction of Caligus. Without a capital, the realm would soon die.

August 1 -Perdan make peace with Itorunt surrendering Bisicye to them.

Perdan defend their capital ousting the occupational force of Sirion and Fontanese troops. (16,800 vs 12,500).

August 3, 2006 - Battle in Beziers! The Perdanese army attacks the forces of Ibladesh in Beziers. The Perdanese forces overran and defeated the invading forces of Ibladesh. (7,400 vs 6,500)

August 4, 2006 - Battle fought in Troyes! An expeditionary force of Perdanese troops has struck into Troyes to intercept some freshly arrived forces of Sirion and Fontan. The Perdanese troops outnumbered and defeated the defenders. (5,800 vs 3,400)

Bescanon has revolted against Fontan and declared itself independent.

August 10 – Southern Federation fails on Domus Assault #6

Huge battle fought in Domus! The armies of Yssaria, Itorunt, and Ibladesh have attacked the Caligan capital of Domus. The attackers were unable to muster enough forces to overcome the defenses, and were defeated. Five Itorunt nobles were captured in the attack, including Sir Ichigo, Marshal of the army of Semall, and Sir Thray, Marshal of the army of Xavax. (Estimated forces 28K vrs 18K)

One thing is for sure. Caligus don’t just lay down their weapons

August 12, 2006 - Battle in Montauban! The forces of Perdan have attacked the invading Ibladesh forces. The Perdanese forces outnumbered and defeated the Ibladesh invaders. (8,600 vs 4,600)

Aug. 13, 2006 - Perdan and Yssaria have agreed to a cease-fire. Caligus officially on their own now.

August 15, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Bescanon! The Perdanese army continues to beat back the invading Sirion and Fontan forces by delivering a crushing defeat to the latest invasion force. Sir Boom Boom, Minister of Defense of Sirion, Duke of Slimbar, and Lord of Blood, Marquis of Al Amarah, Marshal of the army of Karbala were wounded in the battle. (14,700 vs 18,400)

Huge battle fought in Supra! The Yssarian army has attacked the Caligan army in Supra. The battle was evenly matched, and the Yssarians were victorious. 5 Caligan nobles were captured. (9,000 vs 10,000)

August 22, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Troyes! The army of Perdan attacked the gathering armies of Fontan and Sirion. In a long and bloody battle, the attacking troops were defeated. Many nobles on both sides were wounded or captured. (19,750 vs 23,250)

Battle fought in Bescanon! Fontanese and Sirion forces attempted to overtake the retreating Perdanese forces, but were intercepted by reinforcement from Perdan. The attacking forces were outnumbered and defeated. (5,000 vs 8,800)

August 26, 2006 - Huge battle in Bescanon! The Perdanese army attacks the invading Fontan and Sirion armies in Bescanon. The Perdan forces were outnumbered and defeated, but managed to inflict heavy casualties on the defenders. (11,900 vs. 15,600)

August 30, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Woolton! The Perdanese army chased an Ibladesh invasion force back into Woolton. The battle was extremely bloody, with the Ibladesh defenders suffering extremely heavy losses. Twenty nobles were wounded during the battle, including Sir Xylon, Baron of Ar Raqqah and Marshal of the Army of Ibladesh, who led the defending forces. Sir Targe, Paladin Primus of Ibladesh, was captured by the Perdanese forces. (17,500 vs 14,500)

September – Caligus and Perdan continue their stand

September 2, 2006 - Yssaria has siezed control of Sordidus from Caligus. The region is handed over to Light of Fountain. Caligus is down to three regions.\

September 3, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Aestus! The forces of Yssaria have attacked the forces of Caligus. The forces were evenly matched, and the attackers won. (5,000 vs 5,000)

September 4, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Bescanon! The forces of Perdan have attacked the forces of Fontan and Sirion, who are attempting to take control of Bescanon. The attackers were outnumbered and defeated. In the process, the invading forces were severely damaged. Lord Rattler of Perdan, Count of Dimwood, was killed during the battle.(20,000 vs 25,000)

Summoning additional troops, the army of Perdan again attacks the invasion forces of Fontan and Sirion in Bescanon. Although the attackers were defeated, the remaining defending forces are decimated, and forced to retreat. The takeover is stopped. Gloin and Pete, knights of Perdan, were killed in the battle. Lord Kerwyn of Perdan, Count of Beziers, was seriously wounded. (8,250 vs 9,850)

September 7, 2006 - Yssaria has taken control of Aestus, a former rogue region.

Huge battle fought in Woolton! The army of Perdan has attacked the army of Ibladesh. The attackers overwhelmed and defeated the defenders. Sir Xylon, Baron of Ar Raqqah, Marshal of the army of Ibladesh was killed in the battle. (13,300 vs 12,600)

September 10, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Aestus! The Yssarian army has attacked the Caligan army. The attackers were outnumbered, but still managed to overcome the defenders. (5,000 vs 6,000)

Itorunt has taken control of the rogue region of Clermont.

September 14, 2006 - Battle fought in Brive! The Fontan and Sirion armies have advance into Brive to attack the Perdanese forces withdrawing from Bescanon. The attackers outnumbered the defenders and were victorious. Lord Krioni of Perdan, Count of Lorient, was killed in the battle. (8,300 vs 3,900)

September 14, 2006 - Huge battle in Bescanon! The armies of Fontan and Sirion have attacked the Perdanese army. The outnumbered Perdanese defenders defeated the attackers. Sir Teshup, Supreme Judge of Fontan, Count of Braga was captured by the Perdan forces. (24,000 vs 22,000)

September 17,2006 - Huge battle fought in Supra! The Yssarian army has attacked the forces of Caligus in Supra. The Yssarian attackers outnumbered and defeated the Caligans. (11,000 vs 8,000)

September 23, 2006 – On the verge of Caligus enter an open rebellion against the current King who promised peace and no peace was on site he abdicates and wants Richard (Arfeniel at the time) his right hand man to take the throne him his place. However, instead of rebelling Dobromir steps forward and deals with it in open elections receiving twice the votes of Richard and becomes King of Caligus

September 25, 2006 – Evangeline is elected as Queen in Perdan

Caligus defending their regions and on the brink had to undergo a rebellious Richard who spoke outright against the new King Dobromir after losing elections to him. He was reprimanded for his words but pardoned thinking he would quiet down. However, shortly after Richard shipped all Caligus food out of the realm to its enemies and with it stole a vast amount of gold from Caligus treasuries.

Scio revolted shortly after due to starvation and many peasants in Domus and Nascot also died. Richard’s actions were inexcusable and will forever be the biggest traitor in Caligus history.

October 2006 – The Great War ends

October 1, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Aestus! The attacking army of Caligus outnumbered and defeated the defenders of Yssaria. (8,000 vs 5,000).

October 3, 2006 - Huge battle fought in Bescanon! The Perdanese army attacked the occupying forces of Sirion and Fontan. The attackers were outnumbered and defeated. Lone Wolf, hero of Perdan, was killed in the battle. (17,900 vs 23,000)

October 19, 2006 - The War is finally over!

Peace was obtained. Perdan and Caligus both were able to survive. Caligus however took a severe hit to their honor having to simply leave their capital to Yssaria. However, honourably through many assaults Domus was never breached under Caligus control and until this very day Caligus never has had its capital breached. Perdan gave their treasured city of Partora to Caligus more as an insurance policy. Perdan were forced to give up a city and why not give it to their best and truest friends that stood with them to the end.

The victory goes to the federated allies to the north and the south but the great war was made great by the heroic stands of nations that stood with everything against that namely Oligarch, Perdan and Caligus.
