Light of Fountain Formed – April 1 – April 13

Light of Fountain has been founded in Fontan city by the former Chancellor of Fontan following an extensive series of stories around an ancient religion. Negev and An Najaf also join it. Fontan also give Viseu to the new realm and LoF start to demand Akesh Temple which they declared the center of their religion from Caligus with the threat of war if it doesn’t happen. Fontan signs peace with LoF which shows support of the movement and is widely viewed as a way around the Fontan/Caligus peace agreement and to help the southern federation.

Caligus Yssaria front April 4 – April 30 Yssaria smash Caligus

Caligus continue to throw themselves against the Yssaria army losing twice more in Supra 8K vs 16K then 9K vrs 10K

Yssaria takes Aureus from Caligus. Arguments grow and Marshal Dobromir is very unhappy with the strategy deployed losing battle after battle. Still Caligus deploys the same tactic under the same general assaulting yssaria troops now in Aesuts again losing and with it Aestus swaps to Yssaria also. Yssaria ha claimed Supra, Aestus and Aureus in a span of a month from Caligus.

Son of Patrick ex-ruler of Fontan joins Caligus in disgust with the formation of LoF and their motive to steal Akesh Temple from Caligus. Caligus is forced to agree to hand over the stronghold to maintain peace with LoF.

Kalamar Islands rebellions and formation of Avamar Selective

Kalamar goes through various rebellions and counter rebellions. El Cid an Avamar supporter ends up leading Kalmar Islands however. Old Rancangua immediately declare war on the nation.

Avamar selective is formed in part of the island and they go to war with Old Racangua with the help of Kalmar islands also.

Ubent/Perdan vs Ibladesh Itorunt - April 1 to April 30

Ubent and Perdan move through Ar Raqqah and pick off many stragglers there. Then assault Al Aquabah defeating the force there 24K vrs 8K and continue on into Ibladesh city entering it. Ibladesh city is reduced to palisade walls.

Sorcha ruler of Ibladesh is captured during the massive sacking. Ibladesh are completely flailing and are being held in place simply by Itorunt. Itorunt and Ibladesh instead target Mines of Isadril. Ubents one gold region.

Perdan and Ubent have to pull back to refit and also by a counter offensive they wouldn’t be able to hold in Ibladesh city.

Oligarch collapses

Oligarch has been fighting against the odds for a long time. During April however there is very little that they could do. Westmoor was invaded by Sirion troops and the whole Westmoor dutchy was overrun

Greatbridge, Bruck, Orbendorf were all lost to enemy forces. Poitiers revoltsand joins Perdan. Oligarch’s situation doesn’t look grim anymore it has just turned hopeless. Westmoor is being taken over by Fontan now.

Oligarch’s End Approaches – May 1 – May 19

Oligarch’s people resisting substantially. Westmoor broke four takeovers until finally being captured on May 12. Oligarch then simply was holed in their capital of Oligarch waiting for the end.

Caligus/Yssaria front – Caligus under pressure May 1 – May 19

Caligus start the month by reclaiming Aestus back quickly from Yssaria. Yssaria send a small wave to Aestus that fails against the defenders However on May 4 2006. Eagles Reach hero and general of Caligus was slain in battle against Yssaria when Yssaria attacks Aestus. Queen Gwyynth then appoints Dobromir as High Marshal. Dobromir in a surprise move doesn’t retreat but instead orders everyone to simply rally in Aestus and avenge their High Marshal. Caligus scores a huge victory in Aestus and Yssaria are soundly defeated.

Caligus under the new aggressive high marshal move forwards hitting many Yssarian nobles in Supra headed home

Caligus with the aid of Perdan tries to hit Supra again and fails in a disasterous hit. Yssaria rally a massive army.

May 18, 2006 - The people of Akesh Temple have revolted against Light of Fountain and rejoined the realm of Caligus! Seems Light of Fountain doesn’t even know how to hold regions.

May 20, 2006 – Historic date End of Oligarch / Caligus huge sacrifices continue / Perdan hold

Attack on Oligarch! The massed armies of Fontan, Old Rancagua, and Sirion have launched a massive attack on the city of Oligarch, capital of Oligarch. The invaders managed to storm the walls and were victorious. Trot Jr. and Catherine, heros of Oligarch, were killed during the battle. Three other nobles of Oligarch were captured. Three nobles of Sirion and two nobles of Old Rancagua were also captured. (48,000 vs. 21,000)

With that it is the end of the proud and heroic nation of Oligarch a sad brave realm who deserved better then death but it would be impossible to have a more honorable end then they did surviving for a whole year against the odds. This surely spells doom for the rest of the alliance.

Attack on Domus! The Yssarian army has attacked Domus, capital of Caligus. The defending forces of Caligus held the attackers at bay in a long and inconclusive battle. Kylar and Dane the Avenger, heros of Caligus, were killed in the battle. (16,000 vs. 10,000)

Huge battle fought in Zawr! The armies of Itorunt and Ibladesh attack the army of Perdan in Zawr. The attackers were not able to muster a sufficient force, and were defeated. (14,9000 vs. 16,000)

May 21, 2006 – Caligus miracle defense of their capital

The fighting continues in Domus. The Yssarian army was thrown back from the walls of Domus in a fierce battle. The vastly outnumbered Caligan defenders threw off the attacking army, capturing two Yssarian nobles in the process, including Prandur, former ruler of Yssaria. (10,000 vs. 5,000)

Ubent declare war on Yssaria. Yssaria manage to break Ubents takeover of Abadan but not Caligus takeover of Supra Perdan/Ubent vs Ibladesh/Itorunt front

Perdan during May declared war on Itorunt officially to be able to takeover regions which revolted from Ibladesh and joined Itorunt. Perdan made small gains over Ibladesh and Itorunt pillaging regions and also managing to take Zawr. Al Arab is now isolated from regions and food. Dayr also went rogue from Ibladesh and Az Zarqua from Itorunt

June 2006 – The southern tide turns

New Ruler in Sirion – Sirion now elect the their new ruler Handow gets promoted to Prime Minister as Doc receives Oligarch city. Perdan assaulted by Sirion and Fontan

The beginning of June saw Perdan breach the walls of Al Arab looting and pillaging there. Also Yssaria pushed to try and claim Winkamus but were repelled by Caligus/Ubent forces.

Shortly after an incursion of federated Ibladesh, Itorunt and Yssarian troops then assaulted Mines of Isadril. Ibladesh claimed the region and pushed to Ubents capital of Castle Ubent. Dobromir and Cuthbert the two Caligians there were imprisoned and wounded respectively. However a TO was not possible on the Castle.

After coming out of prison Caligus High Marshal was forced to step down as he grew ill and was poisoned (OOC : Had no stable connection for three months but it was RPed as poisoning going in and out of sickness) Caligus lost its high marshal and Cuthbert was appointed quite inexperienced at the time in General duties.

Yssaria took advantage of this marching into Tokat. With it army where it defeated Cailgus army twice.

Meanwhile Perdan helped Ubent reclaim Mines of Isadril from Ibladesh. After a long time of occupation Ibladesh and Itorunt repelled Perdanese forces from Al Arab. However the city was much destroyed and pillaged. Ibladesh’s army was on the brink.

June 20, 2006 – Perdan and Caligus suffer major losses / Ibladesh is saved

Yssaria has taken control of Tokat from Caligus.

Huge battle fought in Bescanon! The massed armies of Fontan and Sirion have attacked the Perdan region of Bescanon. The attackers vastly overwhelemed the defenders and were victorious. Five attacking nobles were wounded, and Kaydron, Marshal of the army of Sirion, was captured by the Perdan forces. (34,500 vs 14,000)

This day forces Perdan to retreat from the south completely to defend its heartlands. Ibladesh is able to claim regions at ease now.

June 24, 2006 Fontan has taken control of Bescanon from Perdan.

June 27, 2006 – Huge battle fought in Meuse! The Fontanese army has attacked the Perdan army in Meuse. Although the attackers outnumbered the defenders, the troops of Perdan rallyed to push the invaders back. The attackers heavy reliance on archers was their downfall, and the defending troops of Perdan were victorious. (10,500 vs 7,500)

The citizens of Tokat have revolted and decared independence from Yssaria!

Huge battle fought in Bescanon! The Perdanese army has attacked the occupying forces of Fontan and Sirion in Bescanon. Although outnumbered, the attackers inflicted heavy casualties on the occupational force before being forced to retreat. Sir Sangue, Marshal of the Army of Perdan, was wounded in the attack. Sir Keyoke, Marshal of the Army of Partora was captured by Sirionite forces. (14,500 vs 20,500) Yssaria now again occupy Aestus with their army doing a takeover of the region.
