Here are the gods of Darkanism and a little bit about how their followers generally are.

Sigridsymbol.gif Sigrid

The goddess of fire. Often described as a flame haired maiden. She is the destroyer of life and the initiator of rebirth, a goddess of war and death.

Those who follow Sigrid's path are eager to engage in battles and warfare. Their way is that of an warrior and aggressor. They fight for the sake of fighting, be it for gold or just for fun, as each battle brings glory to Sigrid.

Darkasymbol.png Darka

The god of ash. Often described as a pitch black skinned man. He follows her sister Sigrid, giving a new foundation for those she destroys. He is the basis for rebirth, god of life, nature and love.

Those who follow Darkas path respect life in all its forms as they are Darkas creation. Though they have no qualms with waging war or fighting battles, they do not do so as lightly as the followers of Sigrid. Often times the followers of Darka find themselves in the more peaceful positions and jobs in life.

Lodrilsymbol.gif Lodril

The god of stone. Often described as a man carved out of stone. He is the base and foundation for everything that is above Sigunds influence. Her sister and brother play on top of him and he is there to protect the two. He is a god of balance and the keeper of souls.

Those who follow Lodrils path walk a middle line. They are not out for death and destruction, nor are they out to protect life. They strive to keep a balance upon life and death. Should one side begin to look too common, they'll give a nudge for the losing side. They also serve as a voice of reason when the followers of Darka and Sigrid find themselves at odds.

Sigund

Goddess of water and oceans. Often described as a blue haired woman, dressed in blue silk. She is regarded as being evil and vengeful, always doing her best to have the three children back in her embrace.

Sigund is out to destroy the human world and so are her followers. Followers of Sigund are not tolerated and if they are found, they usually have rocks tied to their feet and are thrown in the ocean or a lake. Being thrown into the volcano is also a common practice for dealing with Sigunds followers. Some argue that monsters and the undead are Sigunds doing.

Jordfan

Jordfan is the originator. He created the others, bestowing the powers they have onto them by giving up on the powers himself. Jordfan is without form for he is in everything and everyone.

Followers of Jordfan are generally tolerated, but they have no official position within the faith. Usually someone who follows Jordfans path is regarded as being mad, as everyone knows that Jordfan does not care about the humans. Followers of Darka and Lodril will treat them with some respect, but followers of Sigrid might just choose to rid the world of one more mad person. At the very least, followers of Sigrid will not be that respectful nor kind to them.

Brigith

Goddess of wind and air. Often described as an old woman who is almost see through. She is the sister of Sigund. She is often seen as an evil figure, eroding Lodril and pushing Sigund against her children.

Followers of Brigith are treated much the same as followers of Sigund, though usually they are thrown off a high cliff or hanged. Being thrown into the volcano is also a common practice for dealing with Brigiths followers.
