In light of my new appointment as Marchioness of Raviel, I believe it is time that the realm of D'Hara see me make a vow to our Dragon Queen, as the last vow we shared was before D'Hara was formed.

My loyalty has never been in question. My loyalty will never be in question. My Queen, my Sister, the bonds of Fafnir bind us already more strongly than an oath of fiefdom ever could. Nonetheless, this is my oath: that I hold Raviel by your pleasure is true, and I will serve with all the resources of Raviel, whenever you require it. Furthermore, know that my loyalty lies with you and D'Hara, and there alone

Katayanna took a deep breath and smiled. She took up the pen and ink and began to write her own letter to Thalia.

Dearest Sister,

Thank you for your letter and for reaffirming your oath to me. It means much. When the Prophet Tenebrioun told me of his desire to step down and asked if I would be willing to appoint you in his stead, I was overwhelmed with joy. I almost told him that you would have been appointed no matter what if he stepped down.

Sister, I do remember my words to you when I asked that you become a Knight of Raviel. And though it took longer than I thought, The region is yours at last.

My Dear, once you have the region under control If you would draft about every other day, but only soft drafts. I would like to see a a Trader supply in Raviel as well, as PR is too low on Pop to support it just yet.

Now to my part of the oath dear sister.

"For my part I swear to be a good and faithful Duchess and Queen, to listen to your council, protect your lands as I would protect mine own. To offer support in any way I am able. So Say I, Lady Dame Katayanna Ogren, Duchess of Port Raviel and Dragon Queen of D'hara"

Katayanna called for Matilda.

"yes, Your majesty?"

"This letter delivered to lady Thalia along with a case of our best wine and a case of my family mead."

"Yes, Your Majesty, Right away"
