Breaking His Oath to the Guild

Supreme Justice, whether or not we can judge a man for his personality is something that justice may be hesitant to do. What we can judge a man for is his actions. Count Jon Paul, not only has been shown by the Three Minute Mania to be unLordly in his mental faculty, and he has blatantly showed criminal actions, but he has also proven to be ignoble in his behaviour.

This next piece of evidence will present Count Jon Paul as an oath breaking untrustworthy member of our noble society.

On January 26th of 1009, Count Jon Paul paid the entrance fee and became a Recruit in the Congress of Democracy.

Important Event for "Congress of Democracy"

A new member has signed up at the guildhouse in An Najaf. Sir Jon Paul Ogren, Count of An Najaf is now a Recruit in the "Congress of Democracy".

Also check the Guild Log for recent events.

Three days later on January 29th 1009 it was this Recruit who brought the whole guild to ruin.

Guild Lost

With the loss of its last guildhouse, your guild Congress of Democracy has lost its powers and influence, forcing it to close down. The guild has been disbanded and your membership terminated.

If we had known that his entrance was a fast acting poison against us we would never have allowed him to enter. Had he truly been the “proud member” he said he was until that Black Morning then he would have freely cooperated with us to solve the clerical error. It was a mistake for the guild to have charged him 100 gold as a monthly fee, if it even did, but it was not a mistake for him to destroy the whole institution.

I accuse him of breaking his oath as a member of the Congress of Democracy and charge him as a seditious member of our realm. In the feudal Democracy we live in, a man who cannot be trusted to hold to his oath cannot be a member of the society. What then should we say about Count Jon Paul? A mind unfit to rule, a criminal, and now evidently a traitor to his guild?
