The Congress of Democracy versus Count Jon Paul Ogren

This court will examine the evidence of the destruction of the Congress of Democracy guild by Count Jon Paul Ogren on January 29th 1009. We wish to seek whether or not he has committed criminal acts, displayed tyrannical behaviour and should be punished.

The Three Minute Mania

A character measure as a display of Count Jon Paul's mental state during the crime. The evidence will be the letters to which he wrote to the Congress on the day of its destruction.

Crimes Against the Guild

Evidence that Count Jon Paul committed the crimes of theft and property destruction against the Congress of Democracy. Crimes to which Lord Duncan's decree made no mention of, and to which the Congress itself seeks reparations for.

Breaking his Oath to the Guild

Evidence that Count Jon Paul has broken an oath against the Congress of Democracy and that this is a reflection of his potential seditious behaviour in our realm.

Crimes Against An Najaf

Evidence that Count Jon Paul's actions were detrimental to the region of An Najaf, not harmful to it as he claimed.

The Lie of the Decade?

Shocking evidence to prove that Count Jon Paul's reason for thinking the guild was extorting him may have actually been a lie put forth for his scheme to deliberately destroy our institution.

Count Jon Paul, Democrat?

Evidence to prove that his behaviour was exactly as I called it, tyrannical.

Supreme Justice, Public, this trial has sought to convince you that Count Jon Paul has committed a crime and has displayed tyrannical behaviour. As the Hero of Democracy, it is my very reason to live to fight against this sort of opponent. I sought immediate restitution by challenging him to a duel to the death. I sought political recompense by calling for his impeachment. Here I speak before you as the Commissioner of a murdered community and plea that you find the accused Count Jon Paul guilty. What punishments you sentence are yours to decide, though I will suggest heavy fines and impeachment from An Najaf.

Show the realm that Democracy is as strong as ever, that the security of our nobles and our regions are a high priority for Justice’s eye. Show the realm that tyranny will not be condoned or overlooked, and that we will not sit down and stay silent. Show the realm that Democracy is fully functional and capable of prosecuting nobles who commit crimes, break oaths, and lie. The evidence I have presented to you was unbiased and factual. If my case has done its job it should have convinced you of all that I have accused Count Jon Paul of and the court of the Congress of Democracy versus Count Jon Paul Ogren should come to rest in truth, justice, and the Fontanese Way.
