Crimes Against An Najaf

Supreme Justice, after all of this, I bring the court to the next spectacle. As the elected Lord of An Najaf, Count Jon Paul assumed an inheritance and a responsibility to his region. He inherited the knights who had lived under my own and Count Hierarch’s reigns, and the institutions that grew up in the region.

By terminating the Congress of Democracy I accuse Count Jon Paul of harming the region of An Najaf.

The Congress of Democracy was nobly founded in the region on November 13th 1008. Since then, it had become a contributing area to the region’s welfare. If he is to be the Lord to maintain this region, then I would think that destroying a guild which provides financial benefits would be damaging.

I present to you evidence of the gold that the guild provided the region since its creation. The Congress of Democracy was a tax paying guild to the region of An Najaf, and by its destruction at the hands of its Count, the region has lost a chance to acquire capital.

Supreme Justice, this is evidence enough that the Congress of Democracy was not a guild threatening the region of An Najaf, nor one that would deserve destruction. If Count Jon Paul is to claim the guild a bane to An Najaf, by what proof does he have? I have just given you evidence to show that An Najaf has been aided financially by the tax on the guild.

Count Jon Paul’s actions, instead of helping his region, have hindered it. The destruction of the Congress of Democracy was a blow to the nobility and the economy of the region of An Najaf, my beloved daughter, the jewel of Fontan.
