The second of the two girls, Vanya was also raised with military and administrative training, and chose to kept her studies after her younger brother was born. Until she decided to leave Menedor, this young woman was more of the quiet and academic kind, that wanted to know the world and write about it. After some time on the South-East Island, she is now showing to be a brightly-humoured knight, that enjoys a battle and mugs of ale. Her loyalty lies with people, more than the realm.

The Story
At the age of 17, Vanya set off from Barad Gardor to know the world. Being the second child, it was never upon her the duty of taking care of the family legacy, making this girl free to do as she liked. When Vanya first took the caravan to reach a coastal city, her ideas were to head everywhere she could, study, write a book, learn about humanity. In her mind, the first thing she should know, to understand mankind, was the war, and she headed to Taselak, where the excitement of battles got to her. Away from her family, and her sister's shadow, Vanya could bloom into a strong mind, a playful spirit, and an ale drinker, as it couldn't be escaped in Taselak, as well as the love for battling.
In a couple of months, the young lady had been asked to join the Realm High Council and was appointed Second in Command of the General's army, and was later designated Lady of Aboal. Such things caused a bit of unrest among the older members of Taselak, and earned Vanya her first friend: Lek Kindon. Later on, she crossed paths with Sir Tengstille Flightwing, whom she met as an adventurer, fought by the side as a noble, and who ended up giving her the Shield of Aboal. They became good friends, maybe more. When Tengstille left the sinking island to the East Continent, Vanya followed, soon afterwards. They were for some time knights in Fontan, where she also learned that Lek was dead, triggering her relationship with Tengstille on romantic grounds.
After a month or so, she got tired of the many discussions and seemingly lack of respect that she found to be in a democracy, and decided to leave Fontan and join the new colony - the Sultanate of Asena, where she was made marshal. Tengstille also went, and was voted judge of the new realm. Not long afterwards, Tengstille was captured in a battle against the Obsidian Islands, and reports said he went missing. Vanya eagerly awaited for him to show at her door, but he never did, and one day the news that his body had been found arrived, to her dismay. She focused in her job as Marshal for some time and was later appointed Baroness of Kazan.
Losing some, winning some, during hard times in which the Sultanate fought four realms at once, the Pasha stepped down and Vanya was appointed to the position.
