The child is born! Part One

In The Marchioness' vast seaside manor a large blacken iron hearth burns a quartered oak tree in a bright flame, small embers nesting into the crevices they make themselves. Vast banners on the walls display the symbol of Sirion. Minor wall portraits of Rugina's own personal symbol hang to the right of each Sirionite Banner, and on it's left hang portraits of the Silver Legion and it's corresponding units. A small throne rises slightly over the rest of the room. Save the entry way of two large oak doors, where the stairs rise to the hight of the tallest elf. The room is large, as it is both a dinninghall, and a court room. This is where Rugina meets with the nobility of Al Amarah, and holds her courts.

Rugina relaxes on her small velvet cushioned throne, she rests her arm on it's resting place and waves her steward over to her side.

Rugina:Irlith My dark skinned lass, what do you think of the weather tonight? Turnip hasn't once yowled at all today, it must be rather calm? I hav't ventured far from my seat or bedchamber from my back aches so much more then a mace upon my arm...

Irlith:My Lady, your feline compan'n speaks to you with her actions very well, today we have had the most plain weather all year. The sun shone better then Ive seen.

Rugina:That is good news, but this is a pity I wasted it sitting here. I'd at least look out a pane and soak in the sun for my child... Oh my,I- Rugina blushes, a very rare occurrence. Irlith notices her blush and examines Rugine with a quick glance and pauses at her lap. The gears click in Irlith's head, knowing this sign as she has been though child birth herself.

Irlith:My Lady! don't sh! The baby is on it's way! quickly, we must get you to the midwives! The Doc'er!.

Irlith calls out for aid and Tomas and a man in her Entourage; Franz, quickly approach the throne. Tomas and Franz pause and are confirmed by Rugina's nod. They take hold of Rugina's shoulders in one hand and her arms in the other and lift her to her feet.

Tomas shouts in his commanding voice"The Baby is coming! Everybody move! prepare! Get the staff! Open the bed chamber! MOVE PEOPLE!"

Rugina blushes and then feels a small squeezing pain in her tummy. The thought goes though her head "oh here we go now..." ---
