The Current Tide

Rugina stands in a grey clearing. Her fine Leather battle-suit fitting herself tightly but yet freely unconstricting. She wears it well, and stands proud in a daring stance. Her head lowered so her eyes make a glare, a smug look on her face that leaves a feeling of provoking.

Her left hand lays on the pommel of her left blade, the blade itself is concealed in it's silver sheath, and a ribbon dances in the fog- dangling from the guard. Her right hand holds the hilt of her right blade firmly. The sheath barely classified a weapon itself.

She dares to the fog, to send it's worst at her. When a white ribbon floating in a breeze dares try passing Rugina, she strikes swiftly and severs the ribbon in length.

"Who are you to stand before us?" The fog Booms.

Rugina lifts her head and gazes down her nose. And with her voice like liquid "Why I'm just the flow of the tide, impress me and I will become your champion"

The fog remains restless "You are bold, if you wish to fight for us, why fight us now?"

Rugina keeps slightly crouched and ready to attack, her eyes beaming with confidence in her combat prowess. She speaks to the Fog. "I sense change. I do not understand and I want no doubt in who I fight for."

The fog soothes "You will understand in short time just who we are, Hero."
