Sixteen years and some days in the past...

Alice Blakeshadow Sits behind the now five year old Rugina, and combs her daughters hair before her birthday party. Her brown hair was just as silky and beautiful as the ‘pure’ Blakeshadow red hair. But being the only hazel hair in the family, got the young girl endlessly teased by her four brothers, and cousins. Alice loved all her children, and her only daughter was even spoiled, brown hair and all. Alice had a beautiful young daughter to show off, but yet she never could do so with her own family. A mother loves all her children, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the family will see tough the same eyes. Her older Brothers were jealous, that she would be the only elder of the family, or rather, could. She escaped fate, or the curse rather. So they decided to give her some trouble, while they were still around.

Alice “Rugina, what do you think you will get for your birthday?”

Rugina “Toys!”

Alice laughs “Yes, of course! But I have something very special for you. I Think you will love it!”

Rugina was about to start a motor run of whats, when her mother disarmed her with a “Wait and see.” But Rugina’s brothers stole the present away and hid it from their parents, and Rugina. And Rugina never found out what it was. Her mother carried it to her grave.

Present time

Rugina’s older brother ,Gilliam, visits Her at her camp.

Gilliam “Hello Sissy, happy 21st birthday.”

Rugina “ Hello Gilliam, is the rest of the family coming to visit me too?“

Gilliam “ Nope, in fact, they don’t know I’m here.“

Rugina “Why the secrecy brother?“

Gilliam reaches for a box on his horses saddle. “I decide to put mothers soul to rest, and finally give it to you.”

Rugina Brightens “Really?”

Gilliam smiles and hands the box to Rugina, who rushes off to the nearest table to open the long awaited present. Once the bindings were off Rugina opened the box and gasps and starts becoming teary eyed

Gilliam Sighs and takes a look into the box, and his expression changed completely. Gilliam “No Way! Where did she get that?!?!“
