◇ Duelling:

Nobles maintain the right to Duel Till Surrender to resolve a conflict, as long as both Nobles are not actively taking part in a Military Campaign. Permission should be sought from the Cyabr prior to this.

Duels To Death are forbidden. Issuing such a Challenge will result in a warning and a 50 Gold fine. Carrying out such a engagement risks Banishment.

These are High Order offences, and both the Accused and the Accuser will be Investigated.

◇ Treason:

Spying - leaking information, Causing unnecessary internal conflict and any other actions that act detriment to the Realm are considered Treasonable. If found guilty, Spies will be tortured to death.

◇ Corruption:

Lords running excessive Private Taxation, Traders frequenting Black-Market practices, all are forms of Corruption, and will be Investigated and dealt with, usually with a Fine.

◇ Sorcery and Devilry:

Those practising Magic or Dark Arts will be Purged for their crimes. Witchcraft does not have a place in Averoth.

◇ Reporting a violation of the Laws:

It is every Noble’s duty to report any suspicions they might have, and to provide information that will benefit a case, to the High Inquisitor, privately. All evidence will be studied and investigated.

In case of any violations of the law, the defendant may be given time to plead their case to the Cyabr and a selected Panel of Nobles, decided at the High Inquisitor’s discretion. If found guilty, an appropriate punishment shall be imposed on the defendant, the punishment itself also being decided at the Cyabr's discretion.
