The Great DocTator is Back on Stage!

City of Oligarch, March

After some months of inactivity the performers from the People's Republic of Avamar are back on stage!

After the disturbing events that took place during the last months and concluded to the fall of the Cultural Capital of the East Continent, the biggest theatrical play of our era now continues with the same success in Oligarch!

Our cartoonist has kindly agreed to offer his strips taken from the play. In addition to his sketches in this Special Issue of Avamar Times you can find copies of the original posters published during the first acts of the play.

Dear Readers,

ENJOY!

The Opening

Doccy's speech shakes the Continent

Each play begins with a perfect impersonator of Doc, immitating one of his flaming speeches that nobody can actually understand! It is worth mentioned though, that the actor resembles Doc so much, that every time he first appears on stage, the weak-hearted from the audience leave the hall screaming, being persuaded that the actual Doc has just invaded and took control of the theatre!

Notice the starnge elven devices that surrounds Doc. Nobody has understood what their real function is. However many theories have been proposed the most popular among them descripes this futuristic phallic equipment as something radiating magic, directly connected with Doccy's desire to be heard as a sane, honest and trustful person. Dr. Freaud argues that the devices have something to do with his childhood, the way he was raised by his mother and the deep hatred for his father.

A peaceful, cultural and laughable invasion

The Great Doctator finally visits Oligarch!

After countless requests of our readers we decided to publish this special issue dedicated to our always inspirational Doccy. Moreover we sponsor "The Great Doctator" in Oligarch's City Theatre and we offer to our readers the official poster of this long awaited event.

Additionally, an open exhibition at the flea market of Oligarch is held alongside the theatrical play. Old and new posters of the Great Doctator, scripts, rare pictures and other collectible items are available for sale at very reasonable prices, affordable to all visitors.

Most importantly, the revenue will be fully spent to finance the army of Oligarch in order to punish real Doccy&Co. and push them back to their hell-holes.

Censorship in Oligarch?

Whole scene cut from the play due to complaints

Although the premiere of the "Great DocTator" was a true success, an unexpected incident threatened the whole play which was interupted for two hours!

At the final act, Doc and his brainless puppets invades Tabost where he presents his majesty as the liberator of the "enslaved to evil" Eleadorans. There, Great Doccy lifts and hugs a local child to show his pure intentions -as his image makers have suggested. His mother, who meanwhile is being raped by elf soldiers at the background of the scene, escapes and tries to attack him before she fall heroically, mutilated by Doccy's Hobgoblin bodyguards. It is true that the scene is characterised by extreme violence and cruelty. However it seems that the Oligarchian audience was not preparated to face such a brutal view, like this of an innocent child being physically touched by Doccy. Some Oligarchian Ladies fainted out, the play was interupted and the Police was called to arrest the performers. Even, the cancellation of the performance was discussed, until a solution was find. From now on the play will be an adults only show and pregnant women will be strictly warned before entering the Theatre.
