Otto Burgundy
As soon as I turned 18 years old, my father told it was time to serve as Knight. My family (Burgundy) originated from Dimwood (Perdan)(East Island). My oldest brother had allready started his military service, my time was coming. I choose the wise and mighty warrior realm Avalon to serve because we were friends with the Jorvik Family and they had told me many heroic tales about the realm.
Comming To Avalon
Directly after my birthday celebration, I went on a boat on the open sea in search of Avalon. As a noble I studied the many history books and public boards in the capitals University. I soon tasted the blood of the ugly pigs as I call them. Idiot undead hordes and monsters. I had a great time fighting these and soon I swore my allegiance to Judge Jelpot, the Baron of Wilwau. I fought many times the ugly pigs here and enjoyed it fully.
My Glorious Piggie Battle
Near the end of 1006. We had a small invasion of Monsters and Undead Hordes. It was a bad time, nobody in the region could reach Wilwau in time. Only me had to face up. My and my men (27 fully trained special forces) travelled in haste to the region. We knew we were outnumbered 3 to 1. But I had sworn to defend the town and its population. My men knew that they would probably not survive this glorious batlle but we were soldiers in the mighty Avalon Realm and no one questioned each others dedication. We fought the pigs 2 times in a row and won each time and so, succesfully liberated the region. Even General Thorson was amazed that the mission was a succes.
Guardians Of The Magical Herbs
Only 3 of my men survived but we were proud. As we were travlling back to the capital, we needed to go via Norjke. My soldiers were in pain as they were wounded. I visited the guild house some people told me about. I became a member since these herbs helped my men and I to recover. But it was not over yet, as we stayed there to rest, another horde of monsters killed my last men. Altough we won, my proud unit was no longer. But I gained enough honor and prestige to hire many cavalry and so I did. But would always remember becoming a member of the Guild and would soon prove my dedication.
As I served the realm whithout any question and to the maximum of my strength and capabilities. The high council saw this off course and after time, they rewarded me in a big celebration on the mountain hills in Ippetimbal and named me Baron of Ippetimbal and Knight of Wudenkin. My family was very proud and I promised Allarion, our great chancellor that I would give my life for the region and realm. As member of the guild, I off course founded the second Guild house in Ippetimbal as well as two other usefull buildings.
Founding The Guards Of Ippetimbal, Becoming A cavalier
As commander of Ippetimbals forces and Knights, I had established a small command center in the moutain tops of Ippetimbal. My brother Siebe and Trader Thorry of the Jorvik Family swore their allegiance to me. It was time to carry the region on to the next level. My knights spend their gold and time to establish their estates and so did I. The effect was immediate, Ippetimbal had shown no more red lines in the daily region reports. It was managed well. But Military, we could still do better. I requested my Brother Siebe to recruit Infantry trained in Ippetimbal, which were the most expensive and best Infantry troops of the entire realm. He named them "Guards Of Ippetimbal", allready fought numerous battles and still it is a devastating force. Offcourse, as Baron, I would need also a strong force. This is why I changed class and finally after many years of family tradition and training, I became a cavalier and recruited the best horsemen to fight also in honour of Ippetimbal. As baron of a region near the borders of our realm and far from the capital, I am required to stay most of my time managing the regionstats as they would otherwise drop extremely fast. But this allows me to send all my gold to my Brother Siebe and giving him the chance to create a massive infantryforce and fight every battle with his maximum potential and never in need of a long refit.
Surprisingly strong and constant results in elections
Since our last election, I noticed that my percentages are going up and have been very good (top 3 for 3 positions) the last few elections. As I had not the intention to run for any position, my thoughts have changed and maybe in the future I will go for a more political career. I see these good results as a compliment for my work and dedication to this realm. I thank the people that have this confidence in me and I will not let them down.
Elected as General
In the beginning of May, General Scarlet stepped down from her position to attend more time consuming tasks. Since this came as a surprise, no one had the time to change their voting settings, former General Hector was quickly elected. But by the end of the month, some people had risen and expressed they are candidate for this position. Since I am a warrrior and with previous good results in elections. I thought my time had come. And it did, with a large part more votes then the other candidates, I was on the 1st june, elected as Avalon's Minister Of Defense. 44,5% Was the result. A new task was trusted upon me. I thank all my supporters and voters for this oppertunity. In my first week, I allready managed to take back Orombo, a eastern region thet Rof had taken over. A good start...
Invasion!
With hordes of hundreds of Daimons, the entire continent was invaded. Undead & monsters came also in big numbers but they fought with the humans against the ugly daimons. In the beginning, Avalon had only smaller invading daimons. So we travelled towards Sint & Ashborn to assist them. But soon, daimons arrived in Ippetimbal, together with Enweil & Khthon we succesfully defended the regions. But this was not the end. Almost every realm is constant under siege now. We fought monsters & daimons countless times. But still, Avalon remains in crisis. It is now my 4th month (81% of the votes last election) as General and the invasion is becomming increasingly hard. We allready lost one region (Wudenkin), it was occupied by 100Kcs of daimons. And monsters occupy Zod & Henhower. But we succesfully attacked them in Sheja and will soon attack Daimons in Norjke with our Great ally Khthon. Avalon is strong and will survive.
Becomming Judge and Creating Bara'Khur & Fronen
After the invasion, Avalon was crippled and brought to its knees. We survived with defending only 2!! regions. But we survived and quickly became the great Avalon again: In that time, Fronen and Khthon were wiped off the map. While Avalon took in as many knights and regions as possible to prevent not-so friendly people taking them. Unfortunately, Rof was very dishounorable and against the will of the entire continent it took our southern en eastern regions while we were still fighting Daimons and at the same time helping our Allies. It was a disgusting act but and we sworn revenge! But first other more important matters had to be done. After rebuilding Avalon and establishing alliances again (now also with Enweil), we allowed Duchess and great personal Friend Jenny to (re-)create their former Khthon lands, now it is known under Bara'Khur. Avalon showed with this that they are the most democratic realm on the continent and was also powerfull enough to create new lands and empires! Offcourse, we helped our ally Fronen to do the same and build their lands with them. Avalon is one of the oldest realms and now also one of the greatest, with creating and building two other powerfull realms, Avalon got a good diplomatic stand with the rest of the continent. While I was elected interim Chancellor and after I became Judge and Baron of Sheja.
Republic of Fwuvoghor
After all the working and politics. It was time to take was was rightfully ours. The regions Rof stole while we were under Daimon occupation. As diplomatic tensions became raised, most of the other realms backed up our claim but offcourse, Rof had Allies also and did not wanted to return our regions. War was declared: Avalon&Enweil vs Rof&Hetland&Riombara. The outcome today is known: Avalon took their former regions while Enweil took the other Rof lands. Hetland negotiated a cease fire and order was restored but not after Avalon completely wiped Rof of the map, Rof was arraogant and thought they were easily going to win the war so they made Zod, a former Avalon stronghold, their Capital. That meant we had to take it over and thus, destroying an entire other realm. It made Avalon even more legendary. Now it is again time for rebuilding and peace.
